      Your website is your home base for your author brand! It's where you will attract newsletter subscribers and build a relationship with readers.

    Started watching your videos recently, thank you. What would you suggest for someone who has a Resume writing book but is mostly concentrating on fiction genres? Would it be best to have a website for a single book or include it as a single page on a shared website?

    • @BookLaunchers
      @BookLaunchers  Před 9 měsíci

      Because the audiences for these two are SO different I would do two different websites and even potentially two different author pages. Many authors who write both create a pen name for one just to differentiate the two. It's more work but likely worth it in the long run.

      @BookLaunchers  Před 5 lety +1

      Yes I think that is a great plan! And make sure you are building a newsletter list too ... so I would absolutely have some sort of call to action to get people to subscribe to your newsletter list so you're building your platform until your book is ready!

      I had that issue .... I checked the domain registration and made a note of when it expired and checked every year. One year .... VOILA it was available and I snatched it up. In the meantime I recommend a few options ... try using an initial or put 'the' in front of it (my twitter handle is @thejuliebroad ) or you can grab the .tv or .net version of your name
