- Led by Jayson Tatum’s 29 PTS and 5 AST, the No. 2 seed Celtics defeated the No. 7 seed Nets in Game 4, 116-112. Marcus Smart (20 PTS, 5 REB, 11 AST) and Jaylen Brown (22 PTS, 8 REB) added a combined 42 PTS for the Celtics in the victory, while Kevin Durant led all scorers with 39 PTS, 7 REB and 9 AST for the Nets.
After closing out this best-of-seven First Round series 4-0, the Celtics will advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals to face the winner of the Chicago Bulls-Milwaukee Bucks series (Milwaukee currently leads, 3-1)

No it proves star power alone doesnt win you chips. The majority of games especially vs the Cavs were close asf and the reason they won most of those games, is because KD clutched them out nearly every game.
You aint winning this series with two starters who do not or barely shoot the 3 ball vs a team that has 5 3 point shooters starting. They doubled teamed Kyrie, KD and Curry on every play because of it whereas the Celtics had tons of space to work with.
Nash needed 3 games and 4 mins to understand they had to bench Drummond and limit Browns minutes and he still gave Brown 28,
They lost because the Celtics as of right now are the better team but they sure as hell lost 4-0 because of horrible tactical coaching.
After the first game I instantly said they'll be swept if Nash doesnt adjust and put 4 3 point shooters on the court at all times, but here we are.

Well they got an inexperienced coach, someone they felt they were better and smarter than, that they could influence. Don't look for a coach to bail them out or blame when they got what they wanted. They feel they are too good to be coached. The style of play they wanted got them swept.
