I drank a lot of taragüi in college. I believe it is much more effective than coffee. When I lead an overnight crew I used to brew it strong in a large metal french press. The guys on my crew that tried it asked me if it was rocket fuel.

Just got into Hierba Mate. Very high content of caffeine (really enjoyed it) and taste is not as strong. Also good price. Interesting how you keep getting different tastes
