There’s just something about this year’s tournament that feels like it’ll be one for the books. So, yes, we are really excited. And it is with that excitement that we bring you our predictions for the 2022 World Cup.
Make sure to watch till the end because the semi-final picks are pretty spicy and you might be shocked by our group D predictions, too. Anyway, enough talk. Let’s get right to it.

i don't its going to break the entire planet, riots will happen.
This will be either a world cup of upsets or beltings. Normally national teams have 4-5 weeks before a world cup to bolster their defence and formulate strategy. This time the teams will be together less then a week before the tournament kicks off. I think we may see more upsets then you think. Advantage to teams who have been able to get together quickly.

European teams had a couple of matches not long ago and some will have a friendly just now.
Most of what had to be done is already done. Just put the players in a role they are used to, either in the national team or club, and adapt some details depending on opponent. Much of the success will be due to the correct mentality.

I think realistically Argentina could edge Portugal as their overall team is doing better right now. Not many Portugal players are in form ‘right now’. Ruben Dias is obviously a great defender but Argentina have not lost a game for 30+ matches!

England rarely ever dove in football but concidering most of the time england gets knocked out of any competition its due to a bad ref decision or a dive, sometimes you are better joining the rest. Until Fifa gives players bans for diving and unsportmanlike behaviour this will always happen. I personally think its bullshit that everyone is calling england out for diving yet almost every single game players are diving. Be careful with your prediction about France breaking the champions’ curse because back in 2018, everyone said that Germany had enough quality to break the curse, but look at what happened to them. 🙁

Yea true, but I’d argue that Germany’s group was a lot tougher than France’s this year with a very hard-to-beat Sweden side, a strong Mexico team with an explosive Chucky Lozano and South Korea which proved a challenge for every team in the group. France on the other hand mostly just have to worry about Denmark since Morocco and Australia aren’t exactly that strong, but you never know what could happen

Hard to say, Portugal lost to Greece at a Euro final, but then won to France in another Euro Final, and the favourites that year... they also consistently been very close to the finals at latest World Cups... plus, they are doing amazing at the Champions League these days...

Well dear @MMart Portugal was knocked out against Champions Spain in Round of 16 at 2010, could not qualify to next round in group of Germazing, USA, and Ghana plus 2018 they were furious with Uruguays' duo combo. Even CR7 should have been sent off after that elbow incident against Persians' Pouraliganji. FIFA had to keep him in them tournament to attract viewers. They could have failed to get pass Spain, Iran, and Morroco anyways if you have watched the games carefully. (Not Ronaldo highlights only). I do agree with the rest of your statements though specially Portugese teams doing bits in UCL lately. I would enjoy the fantasy final booking too.

Sorry. I can't see Argentina vs Portugal final. Portugal just about made it to the world cup and CR7 has barely played this season so he isn't in his best form. Also Bruno has never been near close good in national as in club level and also Fernando Santos's old tactics are letting the team down. In my opinion as far as they can get is quarters or round of 16 and could very possibly be grouped in group of death. I think Neymar and Brazil's super team (Vini Jr, Richarlison,Gabriel Jesus,Casemiro,Alisson etc..) is gonna win the 6th for Brazil and first in 20 years. I agree that Brazil-Argentina is Semi-Final but Brazil wins it and in final there is no team that can stop them bcs Argentina is in my opinion only team in tournament able to do that.

There is a high chance all countries around the world (including Indonesia) declared the national holiday for 5 days to give some people a lot of time to watch this game. Denmark and Australia tops the group while France gets sent home.

Well, even tho I am a Ronaldo fan, I went for Argentina. Both of the national teams have a great squad, but Lionel Messi's current performance in the world cup might finally get him the beloved trophy. Sorry CR7. But to be honest, if Messi DOESN'T keep up this form, Portugal might go on and win the tournament, since a weak Lionel Messi wouldn't be able to bring Argentina the world cup, unlike Portugal who don't really need Ronaldo to succeed, because they have the likes of Joao Felix, Cancelo, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva and many others. Also, don't forget Patricio's performance in the euros against France. He made save after save and he can meet the requirements to carry his team to victory.
Argentina's team without Messi has also become quite strong and independent. Of course they are weaker without their captain, but I find it wrong to forget about such players as Di Maria, Lautaro Martinez, Rodrigo de Paul, Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso and so on. Emiliano Martinez too was the best goalkeeper at the Copa America.
