For me Triple Threat ending is cannon, because Henry has both of his friends with him, he doesn’t die, government owes him, Ellie and Charles a favor, everyone from the toppat clan is alive, and distraction dance is present. Charles even breaks the 4th wall and says the name of the game.

​@@TO-13 imo, I think it just comes down to the fact that Henry is the character we play as. it makes a difference, because a lot of times people see playable video game characters as themselves, even if said character has their own personality. so it doesn't have as much of an impact when they die.
also, rewatching it again, I don't think some people realized he died. with Charles, it was abundantly clear with the sad music and the explosion, but Henry just kind of relaxed. I can see how at first glance someone wouldn't realize what had happened. and...maybe it's just me, but Henry's death scene felt more disturbing than sad.
