Lyrics:
Ain't but the one thing
Makes Mr. Johnson drink
I get worried about how you'd treat me, baby
I begin to think
Oh babe, my life don't feel the same
You breaks my heart
When you call mister so and so's name

I love how it sounds similar to "Me And The Devil Blues" (my favorite song from Robert Johnson).
A obra do Jhonson é incrível por causa disso, ouvindo com sensibilidade da para perceber que um arranjo de violão puxou a próxima música e assim sucetivamente, gênio JAMAIS HAVERÁ UM IGUAL
The greatest guitar solo in the history of the human race.ive listened to it sped up,slowed down, sometimes a few notes at a time.how he plays that rhythm and solo at the same time is unbelieveable.ive played guitar for 35 years,I still can't figure it out.a poor black man from the cotton fields who we don't know much about, smoked all the greats with this one.drop the mic
its ethereal how its almost impossible to immitate, i really believe every note was imbued with a magic tha cant be recreated except by someone of the same experience as this guy
That's hyperbole, it's good but not that good.
Good yes. Greatest of all time? Not at all dude. Come on
Love Robert Johnson and been listenin for 60 yrs but long ago gave up tryin to copy his guitar that seems so simple but impossible to copy.
Rest in peace king

How did he do that at 2:15 - I swear there are two people playing different guitars there!
1:49 solo
Bobby J copped this from Bumble Bee Slim's Cruel Hearted Woman. Good one poor bob. Stole some of this for Phonograph Blues.
I mean he played ok

This man sold his soul y’all do know
Whats it matter to you
and he died at 27 with a zippo in his pocket (same league as kurt cobain, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix). hes a legend known through music and legend. a modern musical prophet. its beautiful and yet so chilling
No he didnt
@@johncenaplayingstarcraft9580 It's been proven he didn't die at 27 with a zippo in his pocket. He was at least 29 or 30 according to historians. And he didn't sell his soul either. He helped perpetuate the myth himself since he disappeared for 2 years. He was reported to have practiced countless hours under 'Ike Zimmerman' - who also confirmed teaching Johnson everything he could think of. Also Johnson wasn't poisoned, medical reports state his cause of death was untreated syphillis.
Yep
If you're here, it's because your modern day music hero has referenced Mr. Johnson at least.
No
You got that right brother. Let's keep this alive
No
Before Frank Sinatra
Sinatra?! What does he have to do with this? They were both singers, but what else?
