Don’t worry I was also in the LPN program when I was 18 and it’s a lot easier than the RN program, but it will prepare you if you ever want to level up.

I was a 4.0 student prior to nursing school. Nursing school hit me hard, I passed all my classes with B’s and just could not ace many of my exams! The truth is that it’s nearly impossible to get straight A’s in nursing school and it is absolutely okay! When you finish and apply for a job they don’t look at your grades at all! On another note, congratulations!! You are a genius! There was only one guy in my cohort who received a 4.0. 🙌🏽

I was in the same situation. I didn’t want to watch videos of other nursing students once I got denied. I flew right past any video that even mentioned nursing. Apply again even if you have to apply to a different school don’t give up, cry , pray, study do what ever you have to do. Many people get denied, I was starting to loose hope and I finally got accepted. You got this if God do it for me then I know he will do it for you!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I finished this semester with a 4.0 in Microbiology and anatomy II and social ethics... so I'm pretty sure with all those extra classes and As in them (YAY) that will boost me a lot for next time I apply to 2 more schools! My husband was like dont even worry about it time is crazy right now enjoy not having to start a nursing program during a pandemic! And he is right!! Rejection sucks! But you know what I will look back and I'll see how far I have come and I'll be proud when I can join you guys with RN behind my name!
Why didn’t your school offer you online simulation options 🥺 , im a nursing student just completed semester 3 and my school purchased vSim an online simulation program and nys approved it for us to receive clinical hours and the students would be able to move forward to semester 4 ... congrats on completing your semester 🎉
My school did the same thing. We use I-human and let me tell you it’s a way harder than the hospital. We spend 12hrs a week in home clinicals. Congratulations on your 4.0 gpa.
I’m really not sure, we did do “Simchart” during quarantine which we got assigned a fake patient, I’m just not sure if that is going toward the time we missed being physically in the hospital bc in my eyes it’s not the same; nothing beats being hands on(in my opinion lol) But we’ll see, I do still continue onto semester two & those hours will be made up by longer clinical days which I’m totally fine with lol but thank you gorgeous & congratulations on finishing semester 3 💞
@@fatimadiallo6947 I had an A&P class with an online lab and it was SO picky about getting every little movement exactly right, even if you knew you were doing right and in person it would be okay. It was a very "sensistive" online lab system.
Yeah I feel you over the clinical hours. I have 3 days left. It may be over the summer or in the second semester. And whatever skills I didn't do in the first semester, will be crammed in the second semester. But I signed up for this and I know I'll be a nurse despite this crazy ride! 😭🙌

I am just now finishing Phlebotomy to get a foot in the medical work field. We were pulled out of clinicals also. However our National Exams have lowered the limits of hours and sticks needed to pass.. Was originally needing 100+ of each now 50% less KEEP IT UP!

Also it provides the opportunity to start networking to get a Nursing job later. Do not let fear hold you back from doing something you’ve always wanted to do; I learned that personally with becoming a CZcamsr. I learned the timing is never “perfect,” there is always something that could be “better.” You just have to start, fear is ones greatest enemy. I believe in you 💓

here in canada it's a bit different for nursing school. we have four year bachelor of science in nursing programs and then you're done and can become a registered nurse, but you start this program as soon as you finish high school. i'm in grade 11 right now and i'm planning on applying for fall 2021 this fall, and it's people like you who inspire me to follow through with that! also i just want to say that you're so beautiful and you have a wonderful personality :)
aw thanku 🥺💗 & here in the states we have that same program, a 4 yr BSN program -I just chose to not go that route as it is a bit more expensive! definitely follow through with it, it’s a GREAT path; you’ll do awesome! Yes, last semester and this upcoming semester is 3 courses and next semester and my last is only 2; that’s how my program is set up. & I know girl I missed clinicals so much but we’ll be back in action in NO time! 🤪 & thank u so much 💗
I would suggest CNA, only because a phlebotomist solely draws labs -I don’t feel like they see as much as CNAs as a CNA is most likely to be in more contact with a nurse. Also, I am PERSONALLY pro, but everyone is different; everyone can not work under the same conditions. I made a “working while in nursing school” video, you should def check it out 💞
Hi!!! I've been doing college classes during high school, and now i'm entering my senior year and I plan on going to nursing school once i graduate. Are there any classes you recommend me taking before nursing school?
I would take all your pre-reqs before getting in the program so you don’t have to do them in the program, but the core classes are your sciences-anatomy and physiology & microbiology ❤️ definitely get in touch with your academic advisor at your college to assist you in creating your education plan!
The program that I’m in currently in will grant me my ASN & ability to sit for the NCLEX, however at the end of my upcoming semester I will begin my BSN classes so I do not have to start after semester four(graduation). Maybe 6 months after graduating from my ASN program, I will have my ASN & BSN & then I will continue onto a MSN-DNP program. So to answer your question YES I’m getting my BSN but that’s not the “name” of the program, my bachelor classes are being done on the side.

A&P is hard but it is doable. I made C’s in high school because I did not apply myself, but I applied myself for my A&P classes and I made all A’s!!!

I am studying to take me entrance exam for the RN program. My goal is to become a cosmetic nurse. I am completely scared that I will fail but I'm so determined to start and work hard for it. Thanks for being so positive.
Do not let fear hold you back from doing something you’ve always wanted to do; I learned that personally with becoming a CZcamsr. I learned the timing is never “perfect,” there is always something that could be “better.” You just have to start, fear is ones greatest enemy. I believe in you 💓

here in canada it's a bit different for nursing school. we have four year bachelor of science in nursing programs and then you're done and can become a registered nurse, but you start this program as soon as you finish high school. i'm in grade 11 right now and i'm planning on applying for fall 2021 this fall, and it's people like you who inspire me to follow through with that! also i just want to say that you're so beautiful and you have a wonderful personality :)
aw thanku 🥺💗 & here in the states we have that same program, a 4 yr BSN program -I just chose to not go that route as it is a bit more expensive! definitely follow through with it, it’s a GREAT path; you’ll do awesome! did your program only have 3 courses ? I was enrolled in 6 classes lol. but you go girl !!! my first semester started of well but I didn’t get a chance to go to clinicals due to covid. Yes, last semester and this upcoming semester is 3 courses and next semester and my last is only 2; that’s how my program is set up. & I know girl I missed clinicals so much but we’ll be back in action in NO time! 🤪 & thank u so much 💗
Hey boo great video!! Would you recommend doing CNA or Phlebotomy and are you pro for working while in nursing school?
I would suggest CNA, only because a phlebotomist solely draws labs -I don’t feel like they see as much as CNAs as a CNA is most likely to be in more contact with a nurse. Also, I am PERSONALLY pro, but everyone is different; everyone can not work under the same conditions. I made a “working while in nursing school” video, you should def check it out 💞

Hi!!! I've been doing college classes during high school, and now i'm entering my senior year and I plan on going to nursing school once i graduate. Are there any classes you recommend me taking before nursing school?
I would take all your pre-reqs before getting in the program so you don’t have to do them in the program, but the core classes are your sciences-anatomy and physiology & microbiology ❤️ definitely get in touch with your academic advisor at your college to assist you in creating your education plan!
You’re getting your BSN?
The program that I’m in currently in will grant me my ASN & ability to sit for the NCLEX, however at the end of my upcoming semester I will begin my BSN classes so I do not have to start after semester four(graduation). Maybe 6 months after graduating from my ASN program, I will have my ASN & BSN & then I will continue onto a MSN-DNP program. So to answer your question YES I’m getting my BSN but that’s not the “name” of the program, my bachelor classes are being done on the side.

4 semester program, that's nice. What will you be working as in the end?
In the end of this 4 semester program I will be working as an RN. I will have half of my bachelor classes done & finish the entire bachelor program 6 months after graduating this program.
Do you live with your mom or have your own place? I just finished my first semester of nursing school as well and I’ll be getting a place of my own soon!
