This became one of my favorite rides when I got to ride it at WDW so I'm so happy it made its way into Land. It's even better though because of the impressive queue which world lacks. Also the scenes seem brighter with a bit more color. I really thought they would've added or did a different scene unique to Land, but it's still great either way.
The totals on the cash registers at the concessions shop in the queue read 11.18 and 19.28. November 18, 1928 is when Mickey appeared in Steamboat Willie.
Thank you so much for this video! We just got back from Disneyland. And we paid to bypass the regular line so we didn't get to see the features you get to see in the beginning before the theatre. So, it was nice that you included everything in this video!!
At the end, after the choir sings the last part, a guitar of the main theme plays but in DL its just dead silent with the birds. It could definitely use that guitar.

I like how the ride looks and works, I just wish it was a little more unique to this land at DL instead of a carbon copy of the one at WDW (besides the queue). The whole “hoping into a cartoon” pre show is cool and works for the WDW version but in Disneyland you’re already in toon town unlike WDW… so idk if I’m missing something or what it’s just a lil goofy. And seeing as how they built a brand new show building completely hidden from everyone, they could’ve used dome screens instead of having black ceiling/void on the top of every set instead of working with a previously used show building like at WDW, idk those are just my only confusing thoughts, other than that it looks awesome and can’t wait to ride it soon.

ToonTown needed to be reborn. It had the least traffic in the park. So, the solution is to add an e-ticket attraction, spiff up the town and bam you will push people back there, which is an effort to spread the people out and this ride is perfect for that.

At 12:09, usually, the track switch used to be falling down at Hollywood Studios but at Disneyland, the track switch spins.

The attraction is not a carbon copy, they’ve done a lot of quality of life changes to improve the rider experience for the 3rd and 4th cars
The "hopping into a cartoon" thing makes more sense when you consider how stylistically different the attraction is from the rest of Toontown
Also they hid the rising screen effect much more hidden

It’s still in the park, but the doors were closed. The land technically isn’t opened yet so the attraction isn’t open either

Idk why, but I feel like if you can show 7 minutes of queue, you can show the entire cartoon at the beginning before boarding. Just my thoughts on it.
