Having just watched this in December I am hoping that Margaret is now making a good recovery and that you are both back to some kind of normality with covid behind you now.... what a cruel blow for Margaret to have caught this horrendous virus in hospital. I am so pleased you have both pulled through. I sadly lost my mum to Covid in April and my husband lost his Mum on Oct to Covid. We have now watched all of your videos and what a great boat you have, your videos are really informative and helpful!! Wishing you both a healthier 2021 and a more calmer time ahead on the cut. Lynette x
saw your boat on my narrowboat venture and alan mentioned your youtube channel engine sounded great too I'm an engineer or was in my working life anyway enjoyed the video and I'm sure ill enjoy binge-watching more
So sorry to hear about Margaret problem I know how she feels as I had the virus 3 months ago and I’m still struggling to get over it ,lost my sense of smell and left being so tired all the all the time ,yes you must look after Margaret as it is a real bad thing to have ,hope she gets on ok with her illness ok ,take care please keep safe,John
Sorry to hear your wife is poorly. Tell her I hope she has a fast recovery. You take care too. Enjoy watching & listening to the “thump, thump” sound of your engine.
Take care and all the very best to you both. Looks a lovely job on the pigeon loft, loved the black & white and sepia effects along with that glorious soundtrack.
You're doing all the right things mate. Hope Margaret gets better soon and that you stay clear of the damn thing. I know what you mean about the tow-path mayhem.. i'm sure ours has been a real covid corridor for those using it every day. Here's to better days soon.
Caught an interview you did on another youtube channel and immediately subscribed!! I have lived in Japan for almost 20 years now and had several narrow boat holidays in the UK in the 70s and 80s. During the Covid Japanese lock down, I wanted my Japanese better half to see this type of living,,,She is now hooked!! Stay safe you two! Thank you young fella and stay safe!!
Hello, I want to add my best wishes for your and Margaret's health. I really enjoy what you choose to video...you have a very good eye. I loved the rain in the soft light segment. Could have watched that for a long time. And, I wish you joy of those new portholes!!!!
That’s a double dose of horrible stuff, like others I sincerely hope you are both clear of the virus now and Margaret is getting the treatment for the heart condition. Good to see Tony and Paul back in Braunston ( I have Tony’s boat ! ) are you getting Richard Milligan ( the go to RN man who also did the heads on Percys Lister) to do the heads on the engine or Tony/Paul ? I hope the next update has you both well and enjoying the cruising freedom we all now have. PS gotta love the screw heads all lined up top work
Stay strong brother, I am wishing health and happiness for you and T'Missus. You have picked a lovely looking spot to hunker down. Do keep is updated, you are helping us with this lockdown, we're staying home regardless....but then I do work from home!
I hope you both recover swiftly. Right now is a very good time to self-isolate as all the protective measures are being withdrawn by our government. I hope you can find a spot that is empty.
Thoughts are with you guys, hope Margaret gets well soon and the damned bug doesn't hit you both too hard. Think you did right to get away from Braunston Chris.
we hope you are both on the mend soon. we cruised passed you on Sunday, from memory somewhere around bridge 102. strangely I recognised the cat before I realised it was Herbert!!!!.. Stay safe and see you out and about again soon
Man, I am so sorry to hear of Margarets difficulties! I just knew you were going to add Covid-19 while in hospital, I could feel it coming! You are doing the right thing and at least you have peace (apart from the damn birds of course, noisy buggers!). I look forward to hearing you back to your cheery self sooner rather than later. Take care. Ian
Hi and I thought I was the only OCD boater that insisted on all slots are the same !! When I had some work done recently I asked the people to try and do that ....Well I wish I had recorded their comments Good to know you are keeping safe and strong Regards Dave NB Ruby Doo
Is there any other way to do screw head slots 😱 Not long and you'll be at the magic 1000 subscription 🎉🎉 Hope you're both fighting fit again very soon.
Hello Chris. I've been enjoying your videos and am a fellow Gardner diesel enthusiast. I am curious if you have plans of restoring it and then dropping her in Herbert? I'd love to see your progress as you go! Cheers sir.
Fingers crossed. Look after Margaret. And keep your eyes peeled for longer problems afterwards. Not sure if you're aware, but the virus is found in sewage, so be really careful with toilet hygiene, future pump outs.
Ouch! Hope Margaret is on the mend. Angina is no fun and Covid on top is not a good recipe. Please pass on my best and hope she is back in action before too long. Fingers crossed for both of you.
Just subscribed, found you through the narrow boat experience. Best wishes and hope your wife has a speedy recovery. Stay safe
