Invisible markers I hate how someone can go through my privacy. So I understand and friend told me she draws pictures in her journal. Because her husband is an abusive man, don't worry she left him, he would find anything to make her feel bad. So she started drawing pictures because she would know what it means but he won't.

A gratitude journal just consists of writing three things down that you are thankful for. You write what it is you are thankful for, and why you are thankful for it, or how each thing made you feel. It is really effective psychologically for changing your positivity and mental health. ALSO, research shows it is more effective if it is done three times a week rather than every day. The things you list tend to be more genuine and less forced that way. All you need is a pen and a notebook. You can even put reminders in your phone.

I feel like TDL should be in a planner not a diary. To me, a diary is personal reflections and recollections, and you have a planner or notepad for everyday tasks. This might be part of the bujo method though

Journals are good to have. But I think that the only thing that you need to write is what went wrong and what went right each day. The idea is to grow and become better. Gratitude is not important to write IMO, goals are important. Some of these people make these journals to be more than it needs to be. I mean c’mon.

Start by just writing one sentence a day and close the diary once written until the next day. Work on making writing daily a habit. Good luck.
