A bit annoyed about this so I needed a place to vent.
Levolor window blinds are good products but they do not make replacement parts available at least for the cordless faux wood blinds.
A tooth broke on the window tilt mechanism that tilts open and closed the blinds
Levolor customer service (and fixmyblinds.com) advised that Levelor does not make that part available and Levolor's solution is that you buy a new blind.
Other blinds have similar parts that are readily available.
I'd prefer to replace the part from both a cost and a hassle perspective than buy and install a new blind. Even if I could obtain just one of the gears I could disassemble the mechanism and replace the gear easier than installing a new blind.
I see a benefit to having available a 3D printer for cases where vendors will not supply spare parts.
Pay over $100 to install new blind because an inexpensive part is not available - that is Levolor's solution.
