Someone will get one for their old playboy collection for sure😂😂
Playboy has already archived all of their vintage magazines online. Check out Elaine Reynolds Miss October 1959! As Norton would say, VaVaVaVoom! Russ Meyer couldnt have done better himself!
This is amazing, Tuesday Shango!
Thanks Shangle for showing some behind-the-scenes efforts that you have made. I’m sure there’s many comments in the positive for this product. I will be buying one of these one way, or the other, no matter what it cost.!
Omg, We had that very Admiral TV !! Remember watching wild wild west on it, when they weren't reruns! And High Chaparral, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, all the good oldies. Was a nice tv...I was a little kid. Dont know whatever happened to it.
Be still my heart, a gentle fade out at the end. I love your videos and watch them every Sunday with my wife but you’ve been somewhat famous for you cold cut at the end of the video. Have to say I like this one as much as the rest. Keep up the great work and thank you for the awesome content. We watch on a fire stick so I don’t usually go back and make comments but I wanted to take a moment on this one to not only thank you but also point out on earlier videos the great shout outs you give other great CZcams creators. I started out watching one of them that
brought me to you, so thank you for that as well.
OCR has improved greatly. Thanks again, Shango. Cheers!!!
CZUR ( pronounced as Caeser as in Julius) made a remarkable camera type copier ( not a true scanner for it has no moving parts except the camera shutter) for any page type thing you want digitized and it does it FAST. Two thumbs up on it and the price is right on for what it does. Thanks for this video Shango. Enjoy it well.
Yeah well you know it's my thick West Coast Hollywood accent getting the best of me again
@@kpanic23 I'd also pronounce it seizure, maybe they should pick a better name. It reminds me of a Chinese tablet I had named Ainol Fire 🤣
@@TheStuffMadelol 😂some of these Chinese product names are sketchy. My workbench lighting is made by a company called Duducream.
Whoa! Some hump day Shango.
LOVE LOVE LOVE The fade out Shango!!! Well done!!
That is some impressive picture quality, and all the little options are very handy... You got an serious tool right there!
You know what you are doing. That's why we watch your content, Shango!
Very nice turnkey solution, years ago we made a suite of programs and hardware drivers doing these tasks (which are very involved when writing programs )for off the shelf cameras and scanners .
Having it all in one box is great.
I've got literally hundreds of books that I would just as soon have on PDF and then sell or donate the printed copy. Scanning them in with a device like this is something that's been on my radar for a while. Your demo and review of this scanner was very helpful - thanks. I moved a few years ago and boxing up and lugging hundreds of pounds of books is just so unnecessary in this age.
Not a cheap piece of equipment, but it's still in the home office ball park. And considering what it can do, well worth the cost. Would be nice if the local public library had one for public use.
Remindes me of my days in the early 90's with a microfilm camera. Completely different technology but same idea.
I bought an earlier version of the CZUR book scanner. It didn't work at all. Glad you're having better luck with this one. My earlier one from about 3 years ago was absolute garbage.
I got that tv. Long way from operational. Looks good
best review of this product well done
Impressive quality and the OCR never fails to identify words :-D
They have a winner there :-D
Wow...This is even better that watching the HSN!
Just last week, I unpacked the CZUR I had sitting around for a long time for a book scanning project. This video captures very well how the thing works. Just opening the box, I was very impressed with the quality of not just the device bur the packaging as well. All very elegant. I was thinking, I just hope it works as well as it looks. It did. Excellent quality and the software does a remarkable job of processing the page splits and folding irregularities. A couple additional observations:
- Overhead/ambient lighting makes a big difference. Initially I was getting shadows from the overhead light so had to place a beside it. Still didn't come out quite right, so will have to experiment further.
- For some inexplicable (to me) reason, using the OCR function produces far smaller file size than just export to PDF. Makes a difference for larger books.
- The computer I used was an old, slow one and processing was still very fast.
- You do need to work with the thing for a while to get the best scan results. The book I was working with had very tight binding, but it still came out remarkably well.
Highly recommended.
It's possible the OCR function takes the text and replaces it with vectors/fonts, taking some of the weight off the image files
1. Turn off the builtin light and use a different lighting source
2. Use both builtin light and different lighting source
3. Just use ambient light
In general, indirect-angled light should serve you better. It doesn't have to be too bright necessarily.
Wie geil ist das denn 👍🤗
Very nice! I didn't think it would look sharp enough with a camera scanner but I gotta say: not bad!
Not a bad scanner but I still like the flat bed scanner and both of mine dose what ever scanning I need done.
Awesome scanner!
I have a Epson flatbed scanner I bought over a decade ago to do mostly old photos and negatives. I have occasionally scanned a few document pages. It would take forever to scan what you did here and I am not sure what extra work would be needed to do searchable pdf off that, but even more time for sure.
Good stuff shango !
It is not Saturday.
Cool product.
That is so awesome!!
The Paul Shapiro Supreme Mix with real flute is the best version!
Nice job with the review. Fantastic quality and accurate OCR. Very useful device. I think I recognize that Sams 🤔🤔
Wow I need to keep up here, I had no idea one could get a device like this but very cool indeed.
I guess it's gotta' be Saturday morning, 8:00 A.M. Pacific time in another planet. I don't mind and keep a watchin' Cool scanner.
Wow. I'll bet you could teach it to find caps with high ESR...😅 So much better quality than photocopy or typical scanners that i have ever used.
instruction manuals over frankie knuckles = shango just made a new genre!!
Amazing what it does I guess I will need one now. but great video on this too useful thanks
Oh this is great.
WOW! Shango066 bought something new.
thats amazing !
The end of the video is very ASMR
thats pretty good image quality
I read that back in the good old days, you needed one of those Minolta Spy Cameras if you wanted to photograph lots of pages.
Nice !
So cool man
Sweet baby Jesus I know what I want for Christmas 🤪
Fun toy! I want one even that I do not need one.
For books this is where it’s at, for data sheets and fold out schematics I’ll stick with my Fujitsu. I can do 70 pages/min with that beast. Regardless I found a new toy to save up for as I’ve got boxes upon boxes of Sams that need to be digitized
Happy Christmas shango066
This scanner is just so impressive. The quality of those schematics blew me away.
Love the outro. LOL.
Curious Marc uses one of these to digitize HP schematics. He's got it down pretty good.
I was going to say Curious Marc has demo’d several of these scanners. I’m sure he has put them to good use!
Wow Frankie Knuckles The Whistle Song.. Classic house track 👍
This should be helpful!
Its great it can read it out. Perfect for those blind repair professionals. 😂
That is similar to my ancient "Hovercam" that I bought used for $100. This has some nice software. Not a cheap one for sure.
Ok, I’ve thought hard on this. The end part needs a remix. 😊
Keep the Vids Coming They are good , Also when's next video on that TV, Be interesting to see it come alive again, Thanks for Sharing the Videos, i like the TV/Radio vids best.
I can imagine a robot operating this remarkable device.
Pretty Cool Scanner , BUT can it scan my Rybelsus side effects book.????
Shango: There is definitely something amiss at 11:11 when you are showing the image of the schematic.
The ET-24 has a 23MP camera and should have been able to resolve down to the grain of the paper.
I can take a shot with my 24MP micro-2/3rds camera and do better, so I think you need to revisit he settings, maybe under the 'Custom' tab.
Also, there should be 'image-stitching' to make the schematic a whole singular image.
Now we just need to know you address, so we can all come over and use it--LOL...
nice ocr to voice
That was a real bargain! I though those where much more expensive!
Shango I have a 1964 Westinghouse and I can’t get video but I can get sound and raster. What do you recommend I do? I’ve been told to clean the tuner but I don’t know how and I was hoping you had a video on how to clean a tuner. Thank you!!
Why did I get visions of J.R. “Bob” Dobbs during that outro..? 🤔
Rev. OSM.
super music
Please add some reverb to the speech track in the end-mix
Gee Dee! that looks great even piped thru this old hat laptop! maybe a pane of (or "lite" as they say) non-glare picture framing glass can flatten a bit better? like the regular desktop scanners or Xeroxers used? Total Rock Candy Mountain ecstasy goosebumps here, or, are they hives? Eczema? ?
I have a stack of old motorola 2 way manuals..... me want scanner thingie!
Shango gets his xmas present early..
How well did it do joining the fold out schematic together? I have a whole pile of Sony service manuals with 3 ft long schematics in them and I would love to buy something that can scan them all correctly. I don't want the pages split I want the whole view stitched together like you'd see if you had the original copy.
It's pretty good at flattening the image. I am aware of those books and you would still have to scan the schematic in two different parts
There might be a function to stitch the multiple images together, or at least a third party tool that will do it before it's all packaged into the PDF
@@shango066in the software I see an option called "Combine Sides" with an icon of two pages being joined at the middle. Maybe that could sitch two scans of a schematic together?
@@treminaorugx "combine sides" put scanned images on one page, looks like do not stitches them properly. I use Hugin to stitch too big pictures to fit under flatbed scanner. Other tools to stitch images exist, payed and freeware.
I have a bunch of very rare audio service manuals. This would be a godsend me to these high quality and searchable, and most of all accurate to whats actually printed. Have you scrutinized the accuracy of the scans in reference to the oddball stuff like frequency, resistance, caps, etc? Has there been any problems? Please let
Us know. Good hoarders like us need to make manage of space that all these manuals take up.
now, if we can get a Patrick Steward voice, or james earl jones~ be most pleasant to review~
What day of the week is this?!
Fifty Five or so. the situational happenstance always will have a kind of the Chinese Lady's rabbit files
it seems quicker on the phone
You will be making your books to digital so you read them on your phone or tablet have it read to you
And all we need to do is print the transcript of the video 🙂
Gamer's CHOICE!!!
Hey........did anyone wish Shango and the faithful a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year yet? What's this site coming to guys?
Well here's to ya!

How much would I have to pay you to scan all of your Sam’s and send them to me 😂

Shango066 😂
Don't forget to drink your Ovaltine!
Holy shit, how much does it cost. ??!!!
The basic version, which is what i think shangoo got, is $349 on thier website. Other models have wirless and or HDMI output. But if you have a halfway recent pc i think this will be just the cats meow on basic level🎉😊
@@netboy7638 well your right he has the top line model Et24pro but on the website right now, its $518 with $649 crossed out. Maybe Christmas 🤶 discount? You can’t always trust amazon

This is really going to blow my mind if we start finding schematics on the net somewhere in perfect sharpness and easy to read because the Shangster scanned it in personally!
