Today's start ain't half bad, oddly similar to yesterday with slightly below par movement speed and damage, but great tear rate and Nancy Bombs. Dad's Key is underrated imo, and saves massively on resources, so to start a run with it guarantees that we won't struggle to get into Secret Rooms/Item Rooms/Shops. Combining that with PhD makes our start to this run not necessarily super strong, but one with lots of potential for us. We got freakin' Spoon Bender as well as Empty Vessel. Stats came in at a decent rate for the early floors, which was only amplified further by Bloody Gust. Our movement speed started to look concerning as we went into the Womb, but that was rectified by Consolation Prize. We grabbed Guppy, and smacked the Lamb before heading down for the Victory Lap.
Immediately finding freakin' Sacred Heart from Birthright in the shop is amazing. I can't remember the last time we got a truly amazing item from Birthright, but here we are. Picking up Hive Mind soon after that just makes Guppy even stronger. Member Card let us purchase freakin' Crown of Light, and from then on there was absolutely nothing in the game that survived against us for more than a second, with the exception of Mega Satan and Delirium.
It's a damn good run today! One that I would call a 9 on Jasonator53's Repentance Eden Run Dunk Rating. We had a good start, no real struggle, and we were very powerful indeed by the end of the run.
birthright dropping sacred heart reminded me why it's such a great item and why it IS still worth it to check shops lol
There's a way that I learnt to sleep when I was in the army.

QOTD: I see that you rarely go alt-path because it is harder. If the alt-path were to be changed how would you want it changed in order for it to be more enticing to go into? (Better rewards? New fun mechanics? Less difficulty?)
He already pretty much answered it by saying the item rooms should just be 2 visible items, not a visible one and a hidden one, it doesn't feel like a proper reward for the challenge

I was also referring to how Sin would want the whole floor changed rather than why he thinks it's not worth it.

Well it has Sinvicta downsides, Little steven can:
- Initiate clown physics from homing shots
- Makes your damage a little "Uncontrollable"
- Contributes to Conjoined wich sin doesn't like
I think this is why he doesn't take it, I may be wrong tho.

36:25 It looks like the lamprey fly spawned when Stanley's foot was down (behind his foot) then you ran into it, which triggered the black heart and that's what killed Stanley.
Yeah, i was shocked that the Stanley 'thigh' graphic hid the spawn animation of the exploding lamprey.

I’ve had Isaac on PS4/5 and it was afterbirth and then played repentance when it came out; and I’ve only played repentance on my PC account. When I tell you playing repentance is the hardest starting from ground up is crazy. I know what to do and I still struggle.

My bed upgrade from my 15 year old box spring to the midnight lux was such a drastic improvement its insane. I almost wanted to return the bed when I first got it because it was hurting my back but I kept reading online to give it a month and break it in and boy am I happy I did. Like sleeping on a cloud.

For me part of the reason I do unlocks on repentance was the mods, now all of them are on rebirth as well but I like my qol

Yeah every old fan hates the new generation of most franchises but the only people that like the new Star Wars movies are people that will tell you they liked Adam Sandler's "Jack and Jill".
Imo the reason Star Wars has fallen off is because it somehow got turned into a family franchise even though it is a dark sci-fi epic with large scale mass murder that isn't even hidden in a "secret dark lore" type of beat. Also because none of the people making the new movies actually like the franchise and the only actor that was a complete fan was the guy who played fin and he got sidelined for peak mid.

I have a question, this isn't a question of the episode as it's not about Isaac. But, I'm wondering Sinvicta, how do you feel about people utilising your music in their own videos? (I'm not on about reuploading or anything like that. More of using it as an accompanying track or creating remixes for bg music)
Is that something you're cool with as it show appreciation? Or is that a no-no as they could be utilising it on something that generates revenue?
Anyway, like I said; not a question of the episode, just a genuine thought I've been wondering about.
It's all good. My music is free to be monetized for whatever you wish to do with it with the only exception being it cannot be used for commercial purposes. For example, using it for remixes, bg music for streams or commentary, etc. - all good. Using it for an advertisement, promotion, retail purposes for products, services, etc. - big no no.

If you have diplopia and death certificate on the ground and you are lucky enough to double them with crooked penny then is it possible to double second diplopia and death certificate until you get every single item?
TLDR: Is all item run possible?
Sadly, diplopia does not copy itself. However, if you get a wild card on the floor then use diplopia, then the wild card will be duped and will act as a diplopia. With this you can get technically infinite death certificates and thus every item in the game. So technically, an all-item run is possible, but getting wild card and diplopia together is quite rare

Pokemon designs overall have gotten less interesting to me ever since Ken Sugimori retired. Don't get me wrong, there's still some absolute winners each gen, like Golisopod in gen 7 and Clodsire in gen 9, but the overall consistent quality in design has gone way down.
