On the A/C unit there is a button labeled Front which directs all air to the wind screen - like in older SX4 or Vitara. Second button from the right.

Thanks - I have completely missed that, thinking it was simply a 'max demist' button, which would put the fan on the highest speed.

Herae in Finland they dropped the SX4 from the name so it is just S-Cross. I think that was a good decision!
