I live in NY and trust me, it is damn near impossible unless you go back and forth across the city for cheap food. $10 will barely get you breakfast. Some days as a broke college student I only eat one meal a day for $18 and then spend like $8 on unhealthy snacks to keep me going. I’m not complaining tho

Finnish people: 2 euros(2,5~$) Bag of Macaroni, 1 bag of ground beef. 1# Boil Macaroni or different kind of pasta. 2# Take a pan and cook ground beef. #3 when you are finished cooking both, pasta and ground beef. Take a Bowl and mix them together. And you are done. We call this food "Nistipata" which means" Drug addict's Pot" we also have other names for it. Like "Nistimössö" "makaroonimössö" "pääkallomuhennos". AND if you are small person you will eat 2 days.
