- David Ellefson's tone cuts through Megadeth´s wall of guitars as a hot butter knife. Between his strong pick attack and his Hartke cabs he is a big part of Megadeth's ferocious sound. In this song he works out palm mutes to differentiate and emphasize sections in the song that work great.
I'm using my Warmoth Jazz Bass with Bartolini electronics, going thru a Line6 Helix.

Why haven't we thought of that way of muting before!?
I was already convinced that Kello was a 500 year old bass druid, so it doesn't surprise me that he uses ancient magic

Very nicely played Sir. I’m a huge Megadeth fan and have owned some of Dave Mustaine’s Dean V guitars in the past, but the one thing I’m not too fond of is bass guitarists who pick so this is a bit of fresh. Nicely played.
