His first album was in 1995. I'n not sure his longtime fans would agree that his first English album was the "real" him at all and I don't think he would either. He had the least creative input in that than any of his albums.
Clickyable his first 2 albums were unlistenable. his voice was terrible. Cosas Del Amor was okay though.

Personally, I stand by this not only being the best song of his career, the best song to come out of the Latin Wave of that era, but also, one of the best songs of the 90s.
This song was one of the last moments of true elated happiness before the new millennium and the loss of happiness that many of us had. I was poor, but music like this still made the 90s a bright moment. I will never feel like I did then, but this song brings back a sense of that happiness again.
