  • Hey guys, thanks for stumbling upon this video, shoutout to that CZcams algorithm. I am a first time dog owner just trying to navigate puppyhood and document it for you guys!
    Meet Bane, he is an 8 week old German Rottweiler (at least that's what the breeder told me). His hobbies include pooping, chewing on everything and whining.
    Please leave me some comments below and give me tips to make sure this guy turns out to be a hero, despite being named after a villain.

    First time dog owner - picking a Rottweiler.
    As my mate said to me after I told him I’d bought one (as a guy who’s owned Bull Mastiffs, Shar Pei and a female Rotti) “Good Luck” 😂

    It wasn't the leash or collar that he didn't poop when you wanted he just didn't need to go, it certainly wasn't because he had a collar or leash on. also it took him ages on the stairs to move because he was afraid of the steps and falling down.

    I knew that was coming, always go out first thing and after eating or you will have a hard time training.

    First thing the pup should do after waking is go out to relieve itself, not eat.

    It is better to give him cooked food , fresh like chicken and rice mixed with some organs . You can also try raw food . But packed food is not good .

    You don’t take your puppy out to potty first? Also, my Rotties puppy is 5 months old now and she still doesn’t have a mattress or blanket in her kennel. They will chew and possibly eat it. Dangerous and bad behaviour. It’s not cruel as she prefers to sleep on the hard floor during the day too😂

  • @abcjg65t

    The tail is not properly docked. The cut should be made at the 2nd vertebrae.

      @@sindento1942 That's not necessarily true. That is a requirement by the American Kennel Club (AKC) for a registered Rottweiler to have its tail docked. You shouldn't prohect your opinions on others about what they choose to do with their dog. If you don't agree with it, then don't do it. Live and let live.

    • @squeakycleannnn
      @squeakycleannnn Před rokem

      @@lwood3161 It's not a matter of an opinion, unless you use your dog for something like fighting, which is probably a criminal offence anyway, there is no valid reason to mutilate your pet because of some weird, backwards Kennel Club reqs. You also cut ears off your kids to meet some Smooth like a bowling ball club requirements? Cutting a tail off a dog is as bad as cutting your tongue out, pretty tough to communicate isn't it?

    • @lwood3161
      @lwood3161 Před rokem

      @squeakyclean If you don't agree or condone, by all means, refrain from doing it at all costs. But for other people who choose to do what they want, let them be. You can't control everything. And for the person stating it should be docked at the second vertebrae, they're wrong. Typically, it's the first vertebrae. But again, do as you wish. Live and let live and mind your own business.

      Why?

    • @abcjg65t
      @abcjg65t Před 3 lety +1

      Kibble causes entirely too many health issues. Imagine how your health would be if you was to eat McDonalds every single day all day for years. Nice looking pup. A raw diet would be the best way to go. Wolves live up to 25yrs on a raw diet.
