- Any moose taken with a bow is a trophy but to stand at 33 yards from a 69-inch Yukon bull moose, it's a memory neither I nor Liz nor her Dad will ever forget very soon. I think you will enjoy this father and daughter hunt for a monster Macmillan Moose!

Wicked indeed! Quite a shot and she was cool as a cucumber. Most people would be pumped with adrenalin. I taught the H/E program for over 30 years and I always told students that adrenalin can be your worst enemy. She demonstrated excellent control.
Very calm indeed.
I know it wasn't a perfect shot placement but I was shocked to see the arrow had penetrated, through that front shoulder and through some major vital parts, and into the opposite shoulder.

That is awesome! These armchair quarterbacks don't realize that not every hunting video is made by a production crew & not every hunter is a polished hunting personality. Most of these people commenting would have botched the shot too.

Judging mountain moose.
An old timer told me the ears are 30 inches across tip to tip, if you have half that on each side beyond the ear tip, you have 60 plus inches. It's been a reliable system so far.

How about that pair of aces ? All I heard was “ I’ve hunted the world with her” and even that sentence had to be pried out of the old man. Guy was completely lacking any kind of emotion for his sport. I know his kind pay the bills but man, what a downbeat dude. I’d hate to drag that attitude around the world.

I think you missed that i mentioned that the first bull was filmed before the client got in camp, I was just showing the footage that I got of the bull

I wouldn't never use a bow on a moose. I would never use anything less then 44 magnum or bigger for hunting a moose.
I know people show emotions differently but those two seem like money has made it too easy on them. I would have been doing backflips. Well done guiding.
They were great people, but i do think it was the first moose they ever saw up close. Some people go crazy at the moment then over time they seem to forget, unlike Fred and Liz.

Wow your lucky a bear didn't get on it.
I have been guiding in the Yukon for 10 years, and I have never had a moose touched from leaving it overnight. One moose in particular I recall we had a bear at my client's moose one evening at the time he shot it, and we drove the bear away, of course we expected the bear to be at the moose during the night, we had to leave the area and head back to camp for the night, when we returned the next morning the bear wasn't there neither had it been back during the night. I understand sometimes it does happen but it has never happened to me.

Do you buy meat in a store ? Do you understand magestic killing of that beef cow 🤣. People in Canada, Alaska, and Norway kill moose to feed themselves. Those big bulls kill each other during rut. Wolves kill them later in season if they get injured or weak from rutting season.

That whole “whatever a guy can do girls can do better” comment at the beginning of the video is such bs. In hunting more often than not it’s the luck of the draw who kills a big antlered critter, right place right time sort of deal. Therefore it’s not an “I did better situation” just an “ I got lucky” situation.
Come on for God sakes ,,,, any body can pull the trigger 😮my two year old could bring down a moose ...pulling a trigger is only closing your fist
