*2 second intro* "Hello! Let's begin by making a stone wall." Did I black out for the 5 minute explanation of what terrain is that I 100% already know? No? This channel just gets to the point? Subscribed.
Man, your terrain videos are SO refreshing. I finally don't see it as something you need high end tools or special materials to make it. Cant wait to try it myself!
3:25 This made me smile! :) On the one hand seeing this old picture of the orc-wall again (nostalgic) and on the other it was also the first terrain i made myself.
I have been out of the hobby for a decade now, but this video, as well as a couple of your other videos tempt me to build some terrain again. I might even make videos of it.
This is helping me alot! Not a lot of local store keep miniature basing materials, so finding new and creative ways to make my bases help ALOT! Thanks again
Wow this is actually really clever. What a great channel I stumbled on here. You get straight to the point and leave out a lot of unnecessary detail that just causes people to copy it.
Hi Miscast T, glad you're coming back. I make scratch WW2 dioramas and thought your ideas were excellent. Love the walls and barricades. Keep up up please mate. Blessings from Ireland.
I've recently just started painting my Zombiecide collection. I want to create tile square holders with broken wall all around them. This is what I needed. Thanks!
I absolutely love your method of making stone walls. I'll be running a oneshot DMD session for some newbie friends shortly and now that I've watched this tutorial and gotten my hands on some EVA foam I'm definitely gonna make some ruins for the game :D make something special for their first DND experience!
Oh god he just gets straight to it. No camera too close to his face. Multiple builds, no dependency on specilist equipment. It even has high production value
While I am not a gamer, I really am absorbing your ideas. I do village vignettes and the D56 stuff is crazy expensive. I only do Halloween so all the trees, graveyards, walls, and background builds will save me a ton on money. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. I have already altered some buildings to my Halloween theme with your painting techniques.
Unique channel. Love it. Keep up the good work! Soundtrack that occurred to me while watching this episode: "Do you hear the people sing? Singing the songs of angry men? It is the music of the people Who will not be slaves again!" Les Mis
I've built similar terrain before using similar items an methods. Only difference is I made some rock walls using small pebbles an stones. It's a bit heavy but it was the first time making a rock wall and I used what I had (rocks and a hot glue gun). Nice work, keep up the awesome work.
Making walls out a mat like that is brilliant. I just made 8 walls and two columns using that material. Easy, light, durable. And since it was black foam I don't really need to do that much more to it.
Hey, if you're basecoating something, try adding a little rubbing alcohol to your paint. It will destroy the surface tension so it flows into every nook and cranny. Saves a TON of time getting the bush into all of those tiny cracks.
I want to make a post apoc dice tower and I've been putting off starting, but re-watching your Ork vids has inspired me to stop wingeing and just start.
Your videos are excellent - most terrain videos are too long and rambling, these are well produced and quick, while being very easy to follow. Please make more!
Finally! Someone who doesn't spend 5 minutes talking about all the crap, and instead just does it. Subscribed!

Really super stuff and you're creating scatter terrain that can be used to help define separate areas and also serve to block. Very nice job!
Great video. Like how you dont have a long intro & just get into it. Excellent advice regarding making the terrain. Love your work!
