Spikey enemies have like a 1/50 chance of carrying a thorns card and a 1/3 chance of dropping it (thanks to the reply below :D) Spikey enemies are for example: guar, porcupine and anything else in the index that has the modifier
No it is a 1/3 chnace of dropping as the developer said that any enemy carrying an item/card has a 1/3 chance of dropping nothing a 1/3 chnace to drop something else (usually nothing) and a 1/3 chance to drop what they are carrying
The thorns card is an amazing choice for demo 1 as well, alot of the enemies have very simple timings which arent really affected by the window being reduced (i played through demo 1 with Thrill Seeker) and the return damage helps alot against large groups of enemies.
i wish i could do that but man i can not get the tight timing for it at all (especially the tail attack.) and it just gets me killed , ' / (but boy when i do its finna be over for them dang lizards.)

@@trayboi3652 doubt it, i cant even consistently parry tail swipe without having my block window cut in half despite pressing space at the exact same time every time edit: worded this poorly, thorns reduces block window and because the guy in the video has 5 thorns that means he has 50% less block window

Luckiest build to ever have in this game. I have a main savefile that has 5 slow go cards (3 from enemies). With them equipped, enemies become essentially blind, only spotting me at like 3 studs away. It's really op for getting dynamite first strikes, to 1 shot weaker enemies.
First time i did floor 29 solo, i didnt have any good offense but the 4 thorn cards along with the blocks and counters i did obliterated the komodo dragons
