Best RC Planes -XL-

Today we flew our Best RC Planes from our hangers. The RC Planes featured in the video are the Chris Foss Wot 4 XL and the Ripmax Acro Wot XL. Both planes flown had large 2 stroke gas engines with heaps of power for unlimited vertical ability. Both pilots performed aerobatics such as rolls, loops and snap rolls. Cameras using to produce the video was a mixture of handhelds ( insta 360, Go Pro, Dji action ) and drones ( DJI Mavic pro, Custom FPV race drone ). Wind conditions on the day were strong topping 20 plus MPH but no issue for the larger planes. During my flight my exhaust snapped off mid snap roll and i had to land very quickly before the engine cut ( Emergency landing ). Thankful not crashes happened in todays video. Brian, a keen eye for sure spotting the roof of the van 😂. Was a great day and nice to finally get the weather to do some real RC flying again….. Rotor Flex 👍

@@torquedude yes the weather has been brilliant! Unfortunately didn’t get out in at as I was painting garden walls and fences🤮but I am looking forward to the next spell of good weather, hopefully it won’t be too long away. Did you get up to the NW200 anytime this week? at least the weather was good for it for a change. Happy landings and keep her lite.👍👍👍👍👍

Hi_desert_rat, I totally agree. The sound of a big 2 stroke swinging a prop is amazing. If you enjoyed that let me know as we have bigger planes and some with smoke systems that I’ll do a video on if this type of video gets enough interest. Thanks for the comment….Rotor Flex 👍👍

We no longer fly big petrol at our club because of noise and fear of losing the field. Fun Police are everywhere these days....Nice planes though, they look like readybuilds?....🤔😏🇬🇧

Englishturbines, we are luck that our flying site is well away from any houses so the noise isn’t an issue but the fun police have definitely spoiled it for a lot of sites. Yes both aircraft are ready built kits, I have an early wot 4 that was a scratch build but only seemed to be the earlier ones. Thanks for the comment….Rotor Flex👍
