I as well scrape and go scrape and go scrape and go so pleased that you persisted. Beautiful piece. A silhouette would be great on this. I really do like it. Keep up keepin it real. Blessings and Peace. Stay Safe Stay Happy Stay Healthy
Oh yess a silhouette! Thank you Zara!
I've had sooooo many disasters, it's good to see it's not just me. I quite like a lot of these results x
Bring in another paint not the same 4! It needs a contrast! But thank you for your trail and error! Thanks for continuing to find the beauty of this paint. I knew you would find the beauty!
Thank you Kathleen, great idea although this video was about trying to create a good looking painting from the paints in the kit I bought.
Thank you for taking us through this with you. You are a brave and fun and creative woman. Brava!
Thank you Roseanne :)
I was googling the Reeves sets and found some adresses in Australia, Great Britain and Ireland so it will probably be available elsewhere soon. Though I live in Finland I often order my stuff from Germany.
Hope you all have a Good New Year 2021!
Great to hear. Thanks for the info Ritva.
Thanks for trying this on camera. I have wondered if it would work.
Thanks for watching Elizabeth
Michelle, I've used these too, looks nice if your in a rush. Would you tell me please what brand of white do you use for base coats and buy in bulk in NZ?
Hi Doreen, I use Spring Indoor/Outdoor Semi Gloss Acrylic from Bunnings
When the last swipes you did are on the right as you look at the painting, I see a face in the center, the lighter color is the face, chin, nose, forehead and hair. You could do something with that! I enjoyed watching your process and your refusal to give up!! Thanks for posting...Take care!!
Oh cool! Thank you Jeanne.
Hi Michelle, a Happy New Year to you and your family.
The final result is very appealing for me.
Awesome Carina! How much fun can we all have in 2021?
Lovely work!
Thank you Vanessa :)
I like it better dry Then wet. Thank you for sharing
Yes the shimmer improves when dry doesn't it!
Hi Michelle, I have used the Reeves paints in those kits - I didn't like their color combos lol, so I used the gold and silver with other paints instead. The silver, I found, caused some other paint types to split if I included it in a ring pour, but the gold could be useful for accents sometimes. I think it was more the luck of the draw, the temp of the day and things like that, rather than anything scientific :) I find these paints work quite well in a Dutch Pour provided you only use one metallic with a mix of other paints - it was the only way I could use them :) Have a wonderful New Year and don't stop being you. Hugs from Lisa up North.
Great info. Thanks heaps Lisa!
I like the last one you did
Thank you Debbie
Oh dear, Michelle, the struggle was real wasn't it! I did try to help by yelling "SILVER FIRST" but it must of wanted to become this, and I actually like what you achieved in the end. Especially those last lines you put on! I was hoping you would continue with that on the whole painting as it was really cool! Are these paints sparkly Michelle? Have a wonderful New Years Eve and a fantastic 2021! I definitely want everything you said for next year! Love and hugs my friend. See you next year. 😃❤🥰🤗🙋♀️
Thank you honey!
How much fun can we have in 2021?
Re sparkly what do you mean?
@@McEArt Ummm...shimmery? Sort of like your iridescent paint. Some metallics have a more sparkle than others.
I have
Awesome.
Where do you get the silicone please
Hi Debbie it is a personal lubricant so it is in the personal care isle at supermarkets in NZ.
@@McEArt oh lol that will be interesting buying that. I had looked everywhere for silicone and couldn't find any. I was told it would be the same stuff you buy for seeing machines
I find it at Walmart in the hardware area. Also in bike section. Also in hair care aisle. Just depended on the silicone.
@@debbiehart2008 yes some use that. I prefer dimethicone which this is. There are some pouring oils on Amazon and I have one i have tried on my Amazon store www.amazon.com/shop/mceart?listId=3FAKTISOIFPB6
Hubby brought me some of these Reeves premixed paints from Oz last February. I’ve tried them a couple of ways- and I haven’t had much luck with them either. I did try mixing them with non premixed paints and that was not pretty either. And I’m not a fan of the way they dry. But kudos to you for persevering! Happy New Year to you and your guys! 🍾
Thanks lovely. The non metallics worked quite well. Did you get some of them?
Hi Michelle, great name btw 😉. When I don’t like my ring I just do a second one in the middle of the previous ring and that tends to fix what I don’t particularly like. Hope to see you try it and see how you feel about it ☺️
Put some different colored ribbons in it Michelle! It saves the pour
I love gold and teal but they are yuk on my pours, also lavender and pale pale blue is yuk too
Thank you Doreen yes additional colours would be great although this video was about trying to create a good looking painting from the paints in the kit I bought.
Florence nightingale
Ha ha ha Thank you Christina :)
In the middle where there’s a point it could be an angel fish
Thats cool thank you.
You are one of the few that can effectively try to see another’s viewpoint.
I erased what I said.
