Prime Minister James Marape Visits Tari

Prime Minister James Marape was in his electorate yesterday to witness the opening and signing of key development projects.
The Tari Airport reopening was the first project. It was closed in April last year to allow for the 1.6 km runway to be upgraded under the ADB funded CADIP Program.
The Prime Minister also witnessed the Memorandum of Agreement signed by Hela Governor Philip Undialu and University of Goroka Pro Vic Chancellor Sam Nanjike.
The MOA paves way for the development of the Open Campus in Tari that has enrolled more than a 120 students this year.
