One of the most beautiful, heart-pumping, well-choreographed, hand-to-hand, fight scenes I've ever seen in all of Anime. Well done Wit Studios. That scene is legendary and is an example to why Anime is so loved.
Yeah, even this anime is only their small project since it is original anime, they really put lot effort in it
Crazy how underrated this show is tho like it’s sooo bloody good and wraps up in a single cour which so many shows fail to do
It actually blew up when it was airing. 2021 had bangers back to back because of all the delays to shows caused in 2020. It feels underrated now because it's old but it was considered one of the best shows of 2021 by many Anitubers.
That plot twist was mindblowing, the fight was amazing and the episode was too sad😭
this third arc was about AI and their support AI
They did an incredible job making the robot bodies move not like humans during the fights. Like, the way VIvy was tossed into the building at 5:24 and how her head jerks up at 7:08
The Diva/Vivy dynamic reminds me of Sora/Roxas from Kingdom Hearts. Anyone else?

Antonio shows up for only 2 episodes but still popped off, very well expected of Kiritsugu's VA
This is what Wit Studio is capable of. Imagine if they didn't drop Vinland Saga and AOT.
Dude... I got 4 or 5 animes that I wish my brain had the RAM to properly imagine them being done by Wit or Ufotable.
Don't know about AOT but Vinland Saga S2 had the same staff as S1. They just became MAPPA employees apparently. Tbh I am glad they dropped it because they wanted to make original shows. Great Pretender and Vivy wouldn't exist otherwise.
Wit Studio is just so good at animating fight scenes, It's too bad they fell off financially that they can't make an action anime anymore

Spy Family, yes a huge success BUT it was a collaboration project with clover work studio which means they split the profit and time of production.
there's a reason why they dropped AOT and Vinland saga, they just can't do it. basically, making a "demanding" anime alone is gonna hurt them.

@@petinjuhandal3.099 but wit studio and cloverwork are working together now under a new company called JOEN with aniplex as the producers and shueisha as the publisher.
And in the case of AOT for what I know they dropped it because it was always in production hell and they didn't Even get a good paid for animating it, Even when mappa took it, it was still under production hell for whatever reason.
And with vinland season 2 they probably drop it because of farmland saga since they knew it wasn't going to be a season that Will attract many new watchers because of the lack of fights and they don't want to risk it. S2 was way better tho
But who knows, hope they manage to succeed and get to animate what they want in the future
@@qwertyjsjd didn't know about JOEN, and for Vinland Saga, it is the same reason as AOT, The WIT CEO said that it was because of production time they couldn't do it,
WIT got "push" by both AOT and Vinland Saga committees to make their anime as soon as possible and we know that it needs years to make an anime and WIT can't do it so they had to drop it
It is actually crazy how Mappa took that AOT project, for 6-8 months to make S4 part 1 and the result was decent.
vinland saga s2 was already in WIT production halfway maybe then they gave it to Mappa, like a half-baked bread and Mappa just needed to continue it. that's why the quality was even better than the s1
basically, WIT was overloaded, they already accepted the ranking of the Kings project and Vivy project but at the same time because of the high demand for the AOT and Vinland saga, they needed to finish it, not to mention the spy family. they had to choose which project they needed to drop and they chose AOT and Vinland Saga
To make it even worse, WIT's most successful anime (AOT) doesn't give them a lot of profit, which is why AOT was always been WIT's burden back then
hopefully, they can bounce back and make an action packed anime again(the good one)
I saw the behind the scenes for this fight scene on CZcams. Let's just say it was an insane amount of effort and time which paid of spectacularly on Wit Studio's part to give us such a beautifully choreographed fight scene. Plus I felt bad for Diva 2.0 getting permanently deleted inside Vivy's mind. Plus I can't believe this episode actually made me very sad for 3 machines Antonio, Ophelia and Diva 2.0 more then some main human characters in other big animes.
I keep telling people, Vivy is one of the. most beautiful anime you watch. The visuals is amazing

Basically, the trauma of what happened on the island created an alter personality. We just witnessed AI disassociative identity disorder. This version of Diva took over to protect vivy. And is now giving back control in a heartbreaking goodbye.

I stopped watching as much as before because as always we can't have serious review/reaction on the serious/emotional moments, 90% of the time Lupa has to crack a joke in those moments, this probably why homie is never seen with a girl when they go out party.
