Ligeti String Quartet No. 1 Métamorphoses nocturnes Movements I - XII - Hudba
Ligeti's music always reminds me of horror film music. Scenes from masterpieces like Argento's Inferno or The Masque Of The Red Death always play through my mind when listening.
my favorite Ligeti piece!
Beautiful playing!
Ligeti first planned not to edit this quartet. The influence of Bartok (in terms odf atmosphere if not of syntax) is very strong. Fortunately, he forgot his decisions. We are happy to have this mercurial score, even if it does not reprsent the style of Ligeti .... which changed so many times !
Whenever the interruption came is worthless. This performance and the work of Ligeti are incredible.
Did they win? They are pretty good!
What's up with being interrupted?
If you read the description, the performance has been made for a Competition. The jury was probably done, and decided to go to the next quartet for reason of time or something else
Suite madness
these are grad students, right? if these are undergrads i may as well give up music...
Jurys can be such philistines...
Unbelievable..
why someone stopped them !??!?! F*ck
This remmembers me of Tom and Jerry.
Lmao.
