Lockdown over: Salt Lake hopping from Mildura to Alice Springs

After the Victorian Covid Lockdown 2.0 in 2020, we could finally hit the road again. We left our perfect spot by the Murray River near Mildura, heading north to the Northern Territory. With a stop into Sea Lake (Lake Tyrell) Vic before we left, and only a 72 hour permit to get through South Australia, it was a quick trip up the Stuart Highway, past Lake Hart and Lake Gairdner, as well as Coober Pedy, then across the border and into Alice Springs where we stopped for a bit to work out where to next! It was bloody good to be back on the road again as full time travellers, travelling Australia in our Caravan.
