Who is Artespo ?
Artespo was created in 2017 by Nicolas and Matisse, students passionate about electronic music production and the music scene. Before embarking on this project, they had been practicing drums, electric guitar, and bass for several years.
It was in their respective bedrooms that Nicolas and Matisse started producing music on the Ableton software and sharing their first electro-house productions.
In the early summer of 2018, the project began to take shape in front of the public when they participated in a competition as the opening act for the "Du Son Au Balcon" festival in Salon-de-Provence. This led to other opportunities for them. They gave interviews to several media outlets such as Virgin Radio, La Provence, Maritima, and other local media.
Subsequently, they were able to expand their network and performed a DJ set on one of the stages at the Delta Festival, located on the Prado beach in Marseille. Despite the halt in cultural events during the pandemic, they continued to work and evolve. They met Eddy Gronfier, a French producer based in Los Angeles, who brought his experience to their single "I Know You," released in 2020.
In June 2022, they released their second single "Day Off," with a music video filmed in Les Goudes, Marseille. That same summer, they met Michael Canitrot, the founder of the Monumental Tour. They also performed twice on the esplanade of J4 in Marseille: during the European rugby cup final and as the Warm Up act for the Summer Festival, where they had the opportunity to meet international artists such as Lost Frequencies, Timmy Trumpet, and Ofenbach.
In 2023, they performed at various events, including the renowned "Nuit des 100 Jours" in Aix-en-Provence, an event that gathered over 5,000 people. Feder trusted them to be the opening act for one of the dates on his Feder Tour.
After gaining diverse experiences in festivals and clubs, with Mistral being one of the most frequented clubs in Aix-en-Provence, they aim to take the next step in their career by collaborating with industry professionals. They offer a DJ set featuring House/Deep House/Tech House music.
