Saturday morning tv for kids was the best. Tiswas was a must see back then. Born early 70's so this programme was top of my list!! The Phantom Flan Flinger, The Bucker of Water Song, The Dying Fly, Trevor McDoughnut, Custard Pies, Plenty of Water, Lenny Henry, Chris Tarrant and Sally Field. ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH!! It was always total mayhem, GREAT MEMORIES OF BEING A KID - after it was on, I used to play out for hours.
I wish there were many more clips from Tiswas here, it was a program that cheered everyone up on a Saturday morning, after a the Friday night out! Never to be missed, Chris Tarrant, Bob Carolgees, Lenny Henry, what a team! Anymore clips out there?
I have to imagine Chrissie was thinking, "Did I move to England for this?" LOL - Seriously... this looks like such a fun show. I wish we had something like this in the U.S. Also, I LOVE the expression on Chrissie's face after the panelist gets the last question wrong.
