Do ya think? As have been every late night host since Carson. But Colbert is the best, next to Johnny, the original, of course. Letterman has never been funny. I don’t know how he got his job. Probably secretly filmed studio exec banging a dog or something. That’s definitely it.

Yeah, he and Bob Odenkirk on Mr. Show was a highlight for me in the mid 90's. It's topics and humor were before it's time, and relevant still today. Fan ever since.

Yeah, I like David Cross so I’m disappointed. I get having weird interviews for some sort of press stunt, but this was just awful. I couldn’t pay attention with so little happening. This interview was confusing, and a total waste of time considering his message was one sentence. This far into the pandemic I’m so over all pandemic jokes about being with an audience for the first time. We don’t need to know every single time a guest comes on how many times they’ve seen an audience in the last two years. Rant over.

I've been an avid The Late Show watcher for the last decade and I've got to say this was the most hysterical interview I've ever seen on the show. I had no idea where this was going when David came out in this N95 turtle neck, and Steve played off of it so well. Incredible lmao
Him wanting to lower his turtle neck and Stephen is like "no no, you made that bed, now lay in it."
I imagine, over the course of the interview, there were about 20 subtle ways they comedically said to each other “do you want to come down off that high wire?” And they just kept pushing it.
Most mere mortals would’ve bailed many times over
This entire interview feels like it's under the effects of time dilation.....such hilarious dynamics between these two.

He also lent his voice to Futurama. Not his best work but he is trickled throughout some of the best tv shows and comedy specials

Missed a potential opening line: not a N95 or a KN95 turtleneck, but a KNIT95. Cross almost crosses the antic line into irritating, but seems to know when to pull up -- or maybe stroking his beard is the way to bring him back from chaos.
