Amazing Masha'Allah (y) (y)....Righteous spouses assist one another in preserving their deen by offering help, support, and advice that enable them to obey Allah and abstain from sinning.
NAK is a *Legend* I need to play this to my father and mother! seriously desi parents need such Islamic education that teach them time has change and they need to too in order to sustain themselves and their children!
Alhamdullilah, one thing I am blessed with..that for my parents as for myself it doesnt matter what race and ethnicity you have...as long as your muslim. I always wanted to marry a black guy..so I can have cute brown babies. Salam
so true what ustad said coz society and family's expectations, disparities and just plain stupid traditions, many girls are unmarried esp the older more educated and less affluent ones
I belive so,but of course some Imams can have different opinions but I believe Makakii and Hanifi agree that as long as you do not sell the organs and that it does not harm the donor, it is allowed. Same with organ donation after death.
Awesome talk really............... i am a pakistani and it aalllllllllllllllllllll really happens........ .. my mom has a clear demonstration for me that i won't get married until or unless i have my M.Sc dergree.............and i just finished my GED... :P she's preparing me right now.........
Throughout the lecture, all i noticed is he spoke about social problems, psychological problems, ethical problems geographical issues but not a single naseeha from the sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) not even a single hadith is mentioned throughout a 40min speech. Is this a religious lecture or an entertainment talk so people can have a laugh and go home. Undoubtedly, his talk is interesting to hear but nothing to learn from.
Ustaadh Gee, great talk but i didn't like the way you went in on indian subcontinent households and families; there are immense benefits in extended family and joint family networks, not just horror stories. As for sons looking after their fathers and mothers, these were the words of our master (sallahu alayhi wasalaam); when he said the mothers were most due a mans obedience, three times, over the father; We live in an age of complete and utter parental disregard, when Allah has joined parental obedience with His worship in the same verse... Then there are rights that siblings have. So dear poor wife.... You have to wait your turn i'm afraid. You don't forgo 20-35 years of blood related nurturing, sacrifice, love, and familial love for a spouse who just popped along. It makes not rational sense to this, nor emotional logic or visceral.
Yeah. Doesn't mean parents can mistreat someone who trusts you and comes to their homes to live. Look at both sides of the picture. Don't squat on one side of the coin only.
by that logic, neither should the wife simply forgo 20-35 years of blood related nurturing, sacrifice, love and familial love for a husband that just popped along. If a wife has to wait her turn, I am afraid she is better off not being married to someone who shares the same views as you. Please do not take offence to my words. Just understand how offensive your words sound to the thousands of women, wives, mothers and so on who have to put up with abuse, unfairness and injustice from their in-laws on a daily basis. Your wife is also the mother of your children...she deserves as much respect. But at the same time, JUST because she is the mother of your children doesn't mean she should only deserve respect for that reason alone, but respect for being a good partner and life companion. Bringing a wife into the house doesn't mean immediate disregard for your parents or disobedience to them. A real man would know how to balance the interests of both his wife and his own blood relatives (mother, father, siblings).
You The man of the ERA. May Allah bless and protect you and your family.
HIs wife must be the luckiest women in the world to have a husband with such intellect, knowledge, wisdom, responsibility and sense of humor
