It's true! I think he's only gotten better recently too, this crossed my mind especially in the most recent high elf v.s. French match he casted.

Haha I remember when war wagons first came out they were so bad/hard to use cause of pathing! Glad to see how far they’ve come since then
It wasn't even pathing, they just dealt pitiful damage with shooting, died easily and couldn't kill a zombie as a chariot.
All those things were buffed.
Honestly they seem a bit over tuned now.

Sunfang, has Sun in the name. If you equip the item it should give Tyrion magic and fire damage, then just increase the cost. Against chaos dwarves be a bit of a liability to have fire damage, but against so many other races it be useful like daemons.
High Elves are making so many more appearances recently and I am all for it

I *really* underestimated the wagons here, I thought for sure you were doomed when the sunmaker didn't do that much, silver bullets failed, and your infantry was getting karate chopped, those wagons 1000% put the game on their back.

White Lions seem to underperform in every match I see. I looked up the stat comparisons of the greatsword units around the 700-800 price point range and they had the worst overall stats in that niche. Made me think that Phoenix Guard could be good on some matchup since even though they are a halberd unit, their melee attack is pretty high and they have 30% physical resist on top of being armored. Though the issue is that they cost 1300 and you'd also need some kind of lawnmover piece to prevent them getting tied to chaff units.
lions often supply a reliable missile-resistant, AP core in a match where the real striking power is elsewhere. but i do sort of agree. HE are designed to go super-elite, one way or another, and middle-of-the-road units generally disappoint. i think that's even more true for rangers and silver helms, than for white lions.

I wish they'd buff basic empire crossbows/ handguns. Warwagons are fun but they are basically a staple now

I love seeing land battles. I know they're harder to referee/arbitrate, but I really do prefer them over domination.

we have been seeing them for years and while their begining is fancy and i love seing those cavs engage on flanks, in the end if both players are good its a wash and its few single entities and tatered units like here and often its about luck... meanwhile dom is interesting up to the end
Domination may not have the exact same problems as LB, but the key issue for most who do not like domination is simply that they do not like domination. It's like you're itching for some straberry milkshake and the waiter insists that strawberry cake is better. There is no use arguing which is better...
unfortunately in my allegory Turin was that waiter and the only restaurant in town

So the Heart of Avalorn is clearly bugged, right? It's supposed to be a 25% heal over 1 second but instead it seems to be double that. Heart goes off when he drops below 25%, he has 1186HP at 7:24 when it happens then suddenly he jumps up to 3547HP. His health bar clearly goes from around 25% to around 75%.

Lol Tyrion lost about a half health just because he hadnt command and stated in front of gunners for good 10-15 seconds.
Thats why micro is so important - one mistake with a cost of 1000+ value

Heart procs twice ? Tooltip says 25% over 1sec, but there's clearly 2 ticks, and a 50% heal overall.
Hello, how are wagons better than outriders? Are they really good as chariots or is it a cost issue?
I think it's a combination of kiteability as outriders don't have 360 degree firing arc while wagons do, and wagons are tankier with less models so they keep their damage potential higher for longer

Lots of people put out lots of land battles all over the place. Very Very few put out real competitive MP games and tourneys. Domination is the format for that and I love it.
Both domination and land battles are great, but there are many other quality land battle content creators. DahvPlays, Human Boy YesYes, Tactical Lich, Gojira Gaming, etc. I come to this channel for high level domination play and top-notch commentary,

Empire infantry is so trash. I feel pity for the many people who only play The Empire in single-player, when you could be bashing everything down with Ork infantry.
