That ASM in a 9.8 is over 2k but in a 9.6 is $200? This is what’s wrong with grading comics…

Grading companies look at the entire book including the pages. I notice most people look at the front cover and give it a grade.
Gold Key's Twilight Zone #1 is from 1962 and the show's first run was 1959-1964.

Drill a couple holes in either end of the trally wheels,fill with expanding foam,remember your safety glasses.

Without question. 👍 personally, I wouldn't grade any sketch cards - too many sketch collectors avoid graded/encapsulated cards.
You can get any comic lol they are called reprints....people going to get hurt

And these 9.9 guys are how the old hobby dies. Sorry, not sorry. I like your channel and you folks seem like cool, honest people with a passion, but it's not the same thing as being a comic "collector" anymore. Seems like more of a trophy hunt rather than a chase for post-modern literature and art. To each their own, I guess...
I agree, i see a bunch of people now frowning and looking down on anything thats less than a 9.8 like its not even worthy of having, most people today are only looking to flip so they can land a grail to cash out, but i cant knock the hustle, it just puts a bad look on the comic community as a whole
These are guys are speculators, it is not about the comic, but about the “return”, they’re merchants.
@@douglasgomez6402 i know that, i wasnt referring to them specifically, im talking about the casuals in general, the people who only buy comics just to flip and double the price, so they only go out of their way to hunt 9.8’s or higher as if those are the only slabs that have value, its a growing trend now
I hunt to fill my runs. I rather have a complete run a series then a bunch 9.8 keys. But I won’t knock anyone else’s hustle
I have very few graded comics. The few I have I won in a raffle at my LCS. To me, a comic that's not in good shape is a well loved and a well read comic. I don't mind them in my collection.
I'm glad you're not doing as many videos on weekly new comic hauls. I stopped watching your channel for quite a while because the ratio variants were not interesting. They seem like a 90's gimmick all over again. I like this content better.
