Why do people keep calling this a midrange tabet? It is not midrange. It is literally the only tablet on the market running Qualcomms flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU for this year. Everything else about this tablet is also flagship grade, the only thing missing is an OLED but many flagship tablets still don't have OLED, apple didn't until very recently, and it would have cost twice the price if it had one.
I know right? Its only mid range because there is no OLED, no fingerprint scanner etc. but I bought this because I didn't want to pay over 900 for Samsung 9+ with 12GB and snapdragon gen 2. This is a steal for gen3 and 12gb of ram!

It would only be a "paid promotion" if he was paid to say something like "This is the best ever!! Go buy it." Review units are usually returned to the company after review, and again a review can be negative.

One Ui is dosgsh*t bro and Galaxy Tabs pricing is a complete rip off. Multitasking looks a lot better on this for sure and no Samsung tablet currently runs snapdragon 8 gen 3 either. This is more powerful than any galaxy tab on the market and costs significantly less.

@@nickthaskater The 8 gen 3 is still a stronger in performance in almost every facet even if its only an incremental upgrade over Gen 2. Outside of Dex which is a niche use case anyway for most people, I can't think of a single other thing one UI does better on tablet than Oxygen OS. One Ui is pretty bloated these days too with a lot of duplicated apps and questionable features. The multi tasking canvas UI on the Oneplus is more intuitive and allows easy access and changing between 3 apps at once as the video shows and was pretty much universally praised on the Oneplus Open. A 1 year old galaxy tab s9 is also still significantly more expensive and not worth it just for an all-around worse speced device apart from OLED and Dex. The Galaxy Tab S10 line also could end up costing almost twice as much as this with accessories etc, will be closer to Apple pricing which is just not worth it imo for what android tablets offer.
I just want something that I can read my manga/books/comics, and occasionally watch a movie on. Oh, and have a battery that lasts more than half a day when I do so. If that something could be less than $500, I would appreciate it.
Get a 2nd hand ipad. I hate apple products,but seriously the only android tablets that come close to the ipads performance are way over $500 and just aren't worth it for what most people use tablets for.

Try Redmi Pad Pro.... I'm using Redmi Pad (not the pro version) for the exact purpose you mentioned... And in my use case, the battery lasts a whopping 4 days (8000mAh)..... U'll get all the accessories (back cover, keyboard and stylus) with the pad for about 370$(for the pro version)
Among Android tablets, except for the Galaxy Tab, all of them are not worth buying in terms of software. There is no other Android product that can match the multitasking experience supported by Dex mode Samsung Note and One UI, only Android smartphones with larger screens.
Fold 3 user here, I agree, Samsungs software on either screen is great and then there's dex that I use on a second monitor at work as we can't go on our phones 😂 still it's more than capable of having 5 apps open at the same time if needed, it's normally just CZcams or though.
I'm enjoying mine so far, coming from a Galaxy Tab S7+. Got the pre-order charger and keyboard case freebies and not really missing the OLED screen. It really needs an update to allow top and bottom split-screen in landscape mode. I'm not sure that I'd have got it if I'd known that beforehand.
Why is 7:5 aspect ratio considered weird? The iPad has been king of tablets for 14 years and has an aspect ratio of 4:3 Useable for both portrait & landscape, it's other manufacturers who only cater to landscape.

Having problems getting phone calls to come through my pad. I have a OnePlus 12 and everything is connected in communication settings but when I accept a call on the tablet or make a call the audio is always on the phone. Have you been able to get this working right?
This tablet is awesome, but starts to fall apart when you plug in a keyboard, mouse, or try the HDMI, I hope oxygen fix more bugs with there OS, samsung may be expensive, but there is barely any bugs when you want to do anything on it. If Oxygen is fixed, This is the number one tablet for power. Im in love with the screen ratio though great for old school games.
I know it's not common knowledge, but you won't get anything other than 1080p on Netflix unless you use a tv, also SDR usually butter quality than any hdr on Netflix for 1080p not always but most of the time.

I dont really get the point of android tablets that cost this much. At that price you want something thats good for basic productivity tasks and even the top end android tablets are a big compromise compared to what else you could get from older generation tablet pcs.

You can base a claim over something that was found to happen only on iPhones many generations ago to preserve battery, which can be disabled by the way now. Snapdragon has not put out anything to stack against the M series and the undercooked Android variants of applications are proof of that. Sales also show professionals use iPads over androids across the board. Android phones sure are dominant in the mobile category and rightfully so for a myriad of reasons but it looks mad silly to speak on something you clearly know very little of. Every tech ecosystem has its issues and compromises but disregarding the iPad as factually the best device in its space is hilarious, and I’d give the benefit to you if there was something even comparable but it’s still so far off, which is a shame. If Android could step it up that would only force the iPad to be much better but beyond power it’s relatively stagnant due to lack of competition.
