The key is to go excruciatingly slowly. Ive found a Burberry jacket, Chanel heels, and $70 in a coat jacket. But it literally takes me 4-5 hours in a thrift store 😭
I think jeans are the hardest thing to find in a thrift store. I have much better luck with blouses, jackets, and skirts.

The reason those things were so expensive is because there isn't really a thrifting scene here in London and the stores you went to were in a kinda boujee area (notting hill) and it was all curated which is why the charity shops were lacking a bit.
I was surprised by the lack of thrifting scene in London! Had to figure that out on my own too haha
Yeah like if you wanna go to like a proper charity shopping you need to go to smaller cities like Lancaster or York

i have to say, after living in england for a year i must say that british fashion is my favourite fashion style, mostly because they don't have one and just wear whatever they feel like

Then they feel their clothes are outdated in just a season or two and go buy new clothes. Just buy classics and things that suit your own body proportions and aesthetics and you will never be out of style.

I'm 5'6 not short or tall but my torso is so insanely short and legs awfully long that when I wear high waisted pants they look off. The waist is just under my boobs and the crotch is well....

I went to a similar one called Vintage Kilo Sale in Bethnal Green a few months back! I found some amazing designer clothes and bought a fur coat for £15.
I love London so much! I have been living there for the past four years and the culture, fashion is diverse, the people do have sarcastic senses of humour which are fun for me. The transport is absolute convenience and people were so gentle polite and lovely !!! Btw I am from Malaysia and I will look forward to London soon!

if you're ever in new orleans go to buffalo exchange! they have the best clothes because they don't accept all clothes, plus they pay pretty good for clothes. plus the price is usually 1/3 of the price in stores, so you can get vans, nike, adidas, all the name brands for really cheap!
