- The next new set of Teamfight Tactics, called Magic n' Mayhem, is finally here! With each set being so popular, it becomes more and more difficult for the developers to create something better every time. This requires taking a lot of risks that might not end well in the end, but that does not stop Riot Games from trying! Set 12 brings a new set mechanic called Charms, lots of new units, traits, and also augments. Usually, each set contains an econ trait, but this time things are a little different. For the first time ever, we are getting quest augments! But there is no need to be disappointed because there is also a trait called Sugarcraft, that rewards you for baking a cake! In today's video, I will explain how to get good loot in the new set!

golden quest kinda feels terrible when you sell board to try and hit (cause it forces you to 1 hp) and you can't pick up the legendary because you need room on your bench for 3 items and whatever you sold. Just very annoying that it works like that

@@parkerwilliams7236 I am not sure how it will be when live but I had success in the PBE getting a early comp (that won't scale into late game) win-streaking early getting to around 70~~80 gold then I sell the board for 1 round get the legendary and pivot after(it was particularly good when contested with bad itens). It worked like a more controlled recombobulator
i've hit milio 2 with the quest at 33hp, it was prismatic invested > 3/2 quest

I feel like 3-star 5-costs are going to be a little more common with the charms, a shop with only 5-costs is pretty crazy
Nah fortune was crazier and ryze 3* set 9 was also different realm.
that and major polymorph turning your 3 star 4 cost into a 5 cost

Balancing this set is going to be a nightmare... So many ridiculous item altering augments too that can change the entire game and is so unpredictable.. Yet somehow the dragon claw augment is still horrendous and in there. Riot be yoloing with this one
Unless they're changed it in today's patch, the charm that acts as Salvage Bin doesn't break apart emblems. I locked my shop for carousel planning to use it if I found any craftable emblem, and when I bought it and benched the unit holding it next round the emblems just popped off but did not split into spatula + component.
If u put Sugar on Milo - he spams items on other champs and that counts too :D
Doesn't work, you need to count the actual points at the start of the next round, not what is showcased during combat

Is it possible to reach 7 different traits with 7 units? The lowest amount I've found so far is 8 units. If taken as the 2nd augment, you are effectively playing without a gold augment, and if not super ahead, you end up losing quickly after you get the random emblems.

the temporary items do work for sugarcraft btw if u take them mid round. tested it multiple times and the 6 giants belt one obviously is completely broken
Mhh, I'll look into it again, it doesn't sound intended though. At least once they fix it the video ages better ^^

also at least in the TFT community "aged like milk" gets a whole new meaning :D
and idk, i wouldnt be surprised if they keeep it in. from all the "idk if its intended" this one is certainly more on the plausbile side
@@privatjetconnaisseur I think my comment was about activating the belt charm late, so it would appear at start of combat (though this video was recorded a lot earlier). There also might be a bug with Milio items sticking around long enough for Sugercraft to count
@@leduck y thats exactly what i did, activated it while in combat so it counted for the next round, we meant the same thing
do u know the new moguls mail bug? the new effect, of gaining 1 gold every 5 seconds after max stacks doesnt end, even if u already won the round.
u can easily get ~7gold every round, i got more than 100 gold in a game that only got to 6-2 and i wasnt even winstreaking early.
Salvage bin plus trait tracker doesn't work. The spat emblems just disappear. Unless they've fixed that bug
Salvager Charm definitely doesn't work, Salvage Bin sounds more like a Bug, since splitting Emblems is part of the intended mechanic
there a few extra mild loot interactions like morganna and milio 1% chance? On that note im guessing milio items dont count for the cake too?
Still have to confirm, but milio can work if the items linger around long enough, probs not intended

Hey duck i found a bug where i duplicated TGs, i had lucky gloves and alot of TGs and i rolled turn item into prismatic item charm and it popped off my TG and gave me a RG and kept the items that the initial TG had created
yep radiant thief has some bugs atm, i believe riot is aware of this one

14 Lose streak rewards are supposed to be:
50% chance to get: 2x 3 Star Five Cost Unit
50% chance to get: 50x Gold, Player Buff
If you mean the lower option, is supposed to give you the +1 to all traits effect (Hexcore) but I haven't tested it myself, is just what someone told me after playing the augment.
@@bleurdreemurr4277 Hexcore is alrdy listed at 12 Losses. Considering 14 Losses is like an autowin, it should be closer to something like a Fortune Tree

Hey Leduck just played a game and took Desperate Plea (5g): Next combat: If you would be eliminated, remain alive instead. Charm when i was 11 health against a 3 star Smolder player with only us two alive. Instead of living that round i died and got 2nd
Usually when this happens the charm was bought too late and it activates the round after
Am i using camile wrong or is she really bad , she feels worse than a 3 cost
She feels more like a 4 cost tbh. Maybe they can give her an edge of night effect when her passive procs

even if they added alternatives to econ traits, i feel like it is a stupid idea to flat out remove a sole econ trait, takes the fun out of it and makes it unenjoyable I feel like
yeah i really loved just the small, less risky econ traits like yordle, lagoon and even heartsteel (if played for only 4-8 rounds and then transition)
