Napoleon: I AM NAPOLEON. EMPEROR OF FRANCE. CONQUEROR OF THE WOR....
Wellesley: I just took Paris.
Napoleon: 😐
that general snipe was just dirty
Imagine being a faction that looses half its territory to campaign map borders :P (Russia, Ottomans)
Spain also 😂
Every Single country lost part of their territories.
England , France, Portugal, Spain don't have colonies.
Russia dont have 60% of it's territory
Ottoman Empire *******
For naval engagement it is best to disable their sails with chainshoots, especially with fast ships that can get infront of the enemy. Afterwards they can no longer move around and is quit easy to capture. 5th rate are great for disablelin sails and leaving the enemy as sitting ducks in the water.
TIP: always look where your Artillery shots are landing
The french had their artillery behind a small hill, that is why you didn't really hit them at all. The frenc using reverse slop artillery placement, which was a WW1 tactic, but forgot that their artillery is not made for that.
I thought it was what Wellington used as well?
italianjob99 yeah wellington loved a good reverse slope for nullifying the threat the larger french guns and batteries posed to his own forces.
@@italianjob99 Wellington used reverse slope to hide his reserve infantry
Napoleon wasn't really a fan of reverse slope cover. He is said to have found it cowardly. The British also never counter batter enemy artillery. Wellington found it a waste and actually had a captain arrested at Waterloo for the offence
TIme to general snipe boys... 1 sec later *General dies* next target :)
I don't know why people keep whining about empire having a time limit. You can just turn it off.
You can drop troops off followed by movement if you land them in a port.
Firing a government minister that has 3 or less starts might be beneficial each round. it would be good as well to check for the stats they have, sometimes you can rearrange them for a better outcome.
Exception from tax can be a good way of keeping public order under control for a short term.
At the 6 min mark, you weren't able to unload the troops efficiently since you just razed the port. If it was still there, you could have unloaded there without losing movement on the troops
I use the living crap out of artillery on enemy cavalry. They usually fold before they make contact with my infantry.
Their cavalry is a bit thick
Dominate the sea. Use city states to rapidly advance technology.
Hello :) (I didn’t watch the full vid yet but I just wanted to greet you all)
The combat AI in this game is absolutely dire. Why did single units of cavalry repeatedly charge to their certain death against your line? Why didn't they do anything to prevent you walking your own cavalry behind their line and attacking their artillery?
You actually recreated an not an old taktik, but rather an old Tradition.
You put the good cavalary on the right side and swept up the Enemy from the right to Left.
This tactic was since the battle of Canae widely Used.
Sorry for the mess of english
Its a bit dumb that this game is based on naploeon yet you can take out france and napleon himself in just a few moves.
France should be almost impenetrable for atleast 10 years imo. Like atleast give them 3 big armies or something imposing. Kinda defeats the lure of the game having them be walkovers like this
what a true fucking strategist
Tip : I’m pretty sure cean is pronounced Shean
why do your line infantry have more than 120 men in each unit?
U sound like lionheart lol r u the same person?
