Can’t wait to try these techniques
I get doing a card I get carried away.. have to remember, simply can be better..and it always has an impact.. thanks again
So much fun listening new tips from you
Wow!!! Didn’t know you could use the white to tone down the colors. I usually throw away the paper and start again. Thank you.
Good morning Miss CONNIE.
Wonderful as usual...I too love the "LOVE" background...as well as the rustic look.
I have every intention to try some of these. Thanks again.
(From Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies)
Saira, I am so glad you are going to try them.
Thanks for showing us these great techniques. Love the paper scrunching/inking.
Linda, I am so glad you like them.
I appreciate all your ideas Connie ! Love the things you've shown here, great ideas to follow. Thanks for sharing them.
The background stamp is wonderful. Glad you showed the difference between using the brush vs dauber.
Love what I’m learning from your videos. Thank you.
You're a genius! I watch your videos over and over! Thank you so much!!
Kathy, Wow, thank you!
Pardon me if I continue to comment on this video. The happy birthday one with the use of the pencil rubber to make the dots is brilliant. I’m thinking if…maybe introducing kids to cardmaking and that would be great for them instead of using the other stamping tools I have.
Love the paper scrunching, it looks great with the coffee stamp. I have used strips of painters tape directly on ink pad and then across cardstock for stripes of color. Use markers onto clear block, lightly spritz, and press the block onto cardstock for a background the same size as the block. Thanks for your tips!
I immediately saw an old map too when you used the dauber for the masculine background. Thankyou for sharing your techniques.
Love the scrunched paper method for my masculine cards! Thank you for all the many options. Thank you for stressing that we can use what we have, no need to not try because we don't have the same products. Thank you!!!!
I take the sponge daubers when cleaning them and just stamp dots of different colors all over a piece of white cardstock. It comes out real cute and you can add sentiments, etc.
Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you I'm a newbie,so all you showed helps me it's just purchasing all the products. Have a great weekend, looking forward to more from your channel.
Fabulous techniques ... I have used the watercolor 'wash' with the stamped image in a darker color & loved the effect. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome ideas
I look forward to and enjoy every video you give us. I especially like the inking up the clear block and using that to watercolor and keep our ink pads clean. Also I have heard other people pronounce bokeh bo-ka with a short a sound. But I never understood it until you got the white ink pad out, yay. Thanks so much for all you do
Awesome ideas!!!! Thanks for the wonderful techniques and ideas.
Connie, you are a fabulous teacher. Thank you for this great vid.
Ms Tawksalot, Glad it was helpful!
Definitely a "saved" video...thanks
Great tips! I used the pencil “stamp”on a Paper Pumpkin kit as a background. In class, I wrapped a card stock flag around the pencil to make sure they didn’t get stamped in the wrong color.
Connie, thank you so much for sharing!!! Love these techniques, definitely I’ll be trying them. 🤗
These were great tips! Love the simplicity of all of your videos. So easy to do, but the end results look amazing!
I love these! Sometimes I forget a simple, creative background makes a card fabulous! 🌞
I always look forward to your Tuesday tips! Thank you for sharing your experience and creative ideas!!!!!
So many great techniques, Connie! Thanks for the demos!
Connie, you always make me smile!! Thank you!
Thanks for a great reminder of the background techniques. It is always fun to revisit the tried and true!
Loved all these techniques. I saved these to go back and reference when I need some ideas. I’m enjoying these different series you’re doing. Thank you.
I love all of your backgrounds! Using the pencil eraser is something I wouldn’t have thought of. Thank you for sharing your ideas😊
The Bokeh technique is lovely! Thanks for the Stamparatus tip for backgrounds! I usually struggle BIG time with background stamps! Hugs!
Very nice job love all your 12 cards super job love to watch you are a great card maker thank
Love these techniques, so glad you did this so now I can go try some of them. I really love the watercolor one! Thanks so much for inspiring!
Oh I love them especially the last one. You’re ahh-mazing🥰
It’s backwards so that it won’t gradually twist open as you use it and then one day come spurting out on your project! It’s a good thing. I’m keeping this video in my library to refer to laypter, such great information and clear instructions. Thank you!
With the water brushes, if you hold the lid, then you can twist the bottom portion of going the the normal direction. Lovevyour tips!! I always learn something.
As always I love learning from you Connie!!!!
Connie ... these ideas are ALL awesome. I can't wait to try them. Thank you so much for the ideas.
I give the teacher A+++ for her terrific tips! 👌 😂 thx🌺
Thanks Connie, my fave was the last one with the ice creams.
Love the blending techniques Connie, thankyou
Soooooooo much fun ❣️
Like them all, especially the wadded up one for guys. And I have both the dobber and the handled one.
These are great ideas. I especially liked the background with the ice cream on it. I’ve done a similar technique with ink then the white pigment applied over a stencil.
Connie, that sounds like a fun technique.
Really nice background choices! Love 'em all!
Gerre, so glad you like them.
I love these techniques, especially because you encourage using supplies that you already have in your personal inventory. You’re an AMAZING teacher! Thank you for sharing!
Never saw or heard of the bouquet technique, it's awesome. Will give it a try. Thanks Connie
Thanks so much, Connie. I look forward to trying each one!!
Fabulous use of your time and mine...as always! Thanks so much Connie!
I just love Connie Tips! Thank you so much.
WOW! A+
Hello Connie! Oh such fun techniques for background creations! :-)) Being a follower of your videos, I’ve seen some of these before BUT HAVING THEM IN ONE VIDEO = AWESOME! So helpful for “newbies” but also WONDERFUL reminders for us “seasoned folks”, too! :-))). I liked that you also included some “finished cards” to showcase ways to put the backgrounds to designs! :-)) I also appreciated some emphasis for those Masculine Cards, too! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-)))))
Love your master classes!! Thanks Connie.
I had thought of a couple of these myself, but I loved all of these ideas! Thank you for making fabulously beautiful cards.
love the birthday cards. Eraser dots and the dauber circles with white. Thank you for the inspiration.
These backgrounds are beautiful and easy ! Thanks for using what you had! 👍🏽
Always love your videos and tips! Thanks, Connie!
The last one looks like rainbow sherbet. Thank you for sharing all these techniques. You're the best!!
I love all of these techniques! Thank you for sharing them with us.
I have also taken a paper straw that is rolled with thick paper (the decorative ones for crafting) dampened the end slightly and dipped it in the ink pad. You get really cute hollow bubbles.
Thanks for the tip.
These are fabulously fun background techniques for such a variety of applications! Also really appreciate your teaching style.
WOWZA WOMAN! You are VERY hard to keep up with! I keep taking screen shots so I can remember the things I want to try. Thanks for forging the way!
Love that first flower stamp !!!

Great ideas for different techniques. It's also good to have some new ideas for masculine cards.
I loved all the techniques esp the last one with all the soft colors. I am going to try that today.
It was good to see some techniques that I haven’t used for a while... and why not! They look fabulous! Thank you for making this video
QUESTION? Of course we love the video!!!!! I’ve brought you along with me to have breakfast and some delicious coffee! What’s your favorite flavor of coffee? What experience do you bring with you to your SU business? Education and work. Thank you for being FABULOUS!
@@simplysimplestamping Thank you so much for sharing a huge piece of yourself with us! I appreciate the time you take to respond. It all makes sense, "Gertie" You are Amazing!!!!!! God bless you!
Thanks for all the tips and ideas!! Love the last one!
Just found your channel last night! Loving all your creations, techniques and tips! I'm hooked!!
Great ideas, as always! Thank you, Connie!!
That background you call "bouquet" was new to me. I like it. The paper scrunching is a great technique as well but I confess I have never tried it. I guess because I use embossing folders. Scrunching is a cheap version of the SU 3d folder painted-whatever its name is.
If you look up Bokeh - I think that is the technique. Used a lot by photographers.
Always learn so much watching you!! Thank you !
Большое спасибо!!! 🥰
Love all the background techniques. Thanks for sharing.
Well Done
