Another band where Floor (and many other great voices) has guested in several albums is Ayreon. Tom Englund, Evergrey's vocalist, also guests on one of Ayreon's albums, "01011001", so I will recommend one of the songs off of that album... "Age of Shadows" (it also features Hansi Kürsch and Anneke van Giersbergen among others).
I am so glad you played this video. The two of them singing together was awesome! It was great showcasing Floor.But I am glad that Evergrey is getting out there.
I have had the worst week imaginable and today was just even worse. However, seeing that you guys finally did this Floor double header has made me feel so much better. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Sup guys! Floor has a project called Northward, with the guitarist from Pagan's Mind. They have an album coming out later this year. Apparently they met at Prog Power back in '08 or so, and hit it off & started writing music together. They rekindled the whole thing during NW's year off, and put the finishing touches on everything. Floor says it's a "non-metal" album, so it should be interesting. I'm expecting more of this style of singing, which will be an awesome compliment to her work with NW. The more music she releases, the better!

And, the best thing about these videos is that in this one, Floor is pregnant with a little Sabaton baby and in the Epica video, Simone is pregnant with a little Kamelot baby.

Saw them live 2008 in Boden, indoors at a western themed park, the singers was pretty funny, he asked a random person from the crowd to request a song, which resulted in him messing with his guitar, and saying "fuck it, I don't remember that one pick something else" haha.
Nordic rage was amazing, mostly due to the small crowds, so the bands walked around with and watched the bands with the rest, it was awesome, this was probably only possible due to the event being in the northern parts of sweden, in Boden, and no one goes to Boden unless they have to, haha.
But anyways it was an amazing experience to be able to meet up and chat with these guys, which mostly resulted in us nerding out over the newly released Lemmy biography,haha.
Everyone who was there agrees that was the perfect metal festival, then they ruined it by moving the whole thing into a local tiny building...
Im from Boden and was at the exact concert.. Small world huh :D ? Only time i got to see Evergrey.. They were amazing of course, as the other bands there. The Haunted, Carnal Forge , etc

Awesome reaction guys! As you may know, I love Evergrey! I have seen them live and they are just amazing! You should react to some more songs by them when you find the time later haha :) Even though you know I am cheering for “Lost to apathy” by Dark Tranquillity 👌 But that you allready know. I did recently found the old awesome Swedish metal band called "Draconian" out. They are amazing guys. So powerful. You should check the song "Death come near me". The song is so spellbinding and haunting, you are going on a journey for sure! That is going on repeat at my home all the time right now!

Evergrey great as always and thata easily one of my best songs, anyways some thing different to try is wolfheart. A new track everlasting fall is fucking epic, give it a listen

ok now check out Floors first band that was put together by Epica's Mark Jansen..... After Forever and do something heavy like Transitory or De-Energized or the more proggy earlier stuff like Beautiful Emptiness (one of my all time favs) or the blistering Emphasis.... you will see still yet another side of her on all those mentioned. different from Epica and Nightwish.
Floor is awesome of course but the lead singer for Evergrey has some pipes too, man!
Tom is heralded by many as one of, if not THE, best male vocalist(s) (clean vocals) in metal.

If you want to get into Epica songs, I really recommend the song Kindon of Heaven (live version), it is an amazing song with an amazing live performance
There's another song with floor jensen on the same evergrey album(the storm within), it's a bit more mellow, dark, eerie and atmospheric, the name of the song is disconnect, and floor provides a beatiful and bordeline depressive back vocals.(that's the only way i found to describe it.)

Good one! That song reminded me of the band Borealis. The style is quite similar (no female vocals thought), you should check them out if you liked that song.
Borealis is like a "cheap man's Evergrey".

I've always thought the singer in this sounded like Chris Cornell.
That's a really great comparison! When I first heard evergrey I actually thought of the same thing but never put it in writing and taking nothing away from Chris Cornell, toms voice is definitely a little richer and Fuller in his lower tones......... But there's definitely stuff that Chris does with his voice that astounds me but in a different way
