I seem to have the same issue with my 5310 ,so I’m watching your video to try and learn something before I tare into more than what I need to "it seems like the same simptoms that you have .This tractor has 1100 hours on it and has never been tore apart . I’m hoping I can learn something from you "

Russell Michel Its fairly straight forward. You will need a technical manual if you don't have one. Biggest thing is not breaking the piston plates when you press them back in.

I think if I go that far into the housing ,I’m going to go ahead and replace the atleast the brake disk .I was hoping it was something more simple though. I think I’m going to bleed them first just to take that out of the aquation .

Hi, I got a 5055E John Deere with same problem of that noise from the rear axle brake on the right hand side, when the tractor go forward you can hear that sound so if you press the pedal its gone. I'm about to remove the right hand side brake as shown it on the video, help me out please.

You need to get a technical manual for the tractor. I can’t seem to remember the specs

Thanks for the video, were you able to do a video on the retract/return springs? What was your method with the C-clamp?

rgillin. Funny you commented on this. I haven't put it back together yet. I will do a video when I do. Hopefully it will be the first of next week

did you get it all back together? we're just about at the point you're at in this video on a 5103. just waiting on some more parts from the dealer here but having some trouble getting the new retractor pins to get down in that housing

abetterbrewer I pressed in the retractor springs with c clamps. Be careful not to break the plate pressing them in.

Wes Newman I believe they weren't pressed in to spec. I put it all back together according to spec and it works flawlessly
