The wife and I love the channel and we don’t yet have a motor home although we would love one, they are just so expensive and did fancy a caravan but not no more after watching you guys and your van life.
It looks and sounds amazing with lots of positives, however I’m certain it has some negatives, but I like to think that Van life takes away the dread of working day in day out.
You come across as a lovely family and we just want to wish you well and enjoy life. 👍👍👍

Council tax or rates to pay but living in a small space can take its toll, nothing that a good solo walk can’t fix!

Ahh! Happy memories ❤ We found Overwater Marina about 10 years ago. Well before they opened up the new campsite. We’ve stayed on pitch 1 and 5 of the CL many times. We usually went for the Party in the park in Audlem. That’s a cracking weekend! Sailed down on the Audlem Lass and staggered back up the towpath 😂 Spent many a happy hour in the Shroppie Fly and the Lord Combermere. And to take it even further back, we’ve sailed the Shropshire Union canal over many years on our way up to Llangollen. Thanks for the nostalgic trip 👍🏻

Not sure if you know of the "RHUG farm shop" on the A5 near Corwen, North Wales, they allow free stop over in their car park, the farm has Bison in an adjacent field and also sell bison burgers in the cafe

With birds ( just the same as with bats) the females are usually larger than the male. A Swan cob has a round lump on the forehead at the start of the beak the female lacks such a large lump.

What a stunning and peaceful site that looks like and a great site review. Another to add to the list if we are ever in that area. Could just do with a soak in that hot tub . Last time we went in a wood fired one was in New Zealand 4 years ago .

Hiya it’s normally between 11am & 12 noon and can arrive normally around 1pm onwards
Have a look at Thornwick , Flamboro , Haven site . hard standing with grey waste ,water and 16amp included on pitch, £16 per night , we are going mon to fri , good pubs n restaurants within short walk

Considering the facilities on site it is very reasonable. We have been there on the none CL pitches on and off since October last year. It's easy to get to the shops in Nantwich too. The launderette can be expensive if you use it regularly, but still better than the road side washers that have been popping up. All in all, we love Overwater and will definitely be back in the autumn/winter.
Yes definitely, to do a wash there was cheaper than a revolution laundry charge though!!

It’s the caravan and motorhome club site so you would have to be a member for the bit where we were but it’s not that much more to stay on the main site tbh
Can I please ask why you don’t drink the water in the UK from your tank? We notice you buy bottled water even for the kettle!? x
It’s just something we have always been funny about for 20+years when we used to have our early caravan! We never trust tanks or pipes no matter how well you clean them, everyone is different and we k ow a lot of people who do use there tank water for everything but it’s really just our personal choice ☺️
