I just graduated and I lost so many friends in 2023 because of the amount of drama and things they'd say about other people behind their backs, even mine. I am soooo happy now that I'm out of school and people like that aren't around me.

ur so real for this. im a freshman taking ap calc and ap trig as well as ap biology and ap language and so much more and i can assure you, its not easy to find your studying method. literally studying is hard and sometimes even if students work hard i feel like its really up to if the teachers like you or not and if they're willing to be lenient w u. ive always been scared to talk to my teachers a lot because i didnt want to be the pick me but honestly, i would rather be called a pick me but get good grades and get into a good college (and talking to your teachers isnt even being a pick me). i also think that memerizing is 35% of what you have to study to suceed. ive always spent lots of time memorizing material because i have a bad memory and i thought thats how studying works but really you have to understand the material as well, using the information given to you in class (memorizing notes/vocab) to fully understand the whole concept of the material, which could help you get good grades without even studying. i used to get really bad grades and i thought some people were just born smart, but now i get high 90s without even studying for a full hour each subject. as you get more advanced, it becomes more about understanding and so you dont need to focus on memorization as much. just ask yourself questions and imagine scenarios to help you understand. everyone has a different way of studying to be succesful, and no one is just born naturally smart w no effort. im sorry this is so long but good luck with everything!
