The voiceover didn't utilize the emphasis of the text. It said "collect the bright *remnant*" and "avoid the shadowy *remnant*" which sound like two ways of describing the same thing, to me, but the use of bold text in the description made it more apparent that there are two, different kinds.
These games seem to thrive on not telling the player any of the mechanics beyond basic controls, so if anything, it's surprising this one tells you what to do at all.

I had this game on my phone for exactly 1.5 hours. Caught the endoskeleton, failed remnant collection, failed to catch Freddy, then felt too paranoid to sleep while the app was on my phone. I am definitely a bit of a wuss.
giving the animatronics actual voices makes them so much less scary, like making foxy actually talk like a pirate just made him so fun to me and took away any of the fear, but i love it. i just love how mark heard him speak and was immediately like “foxy?” because even though he’s never spoken before, who else would be talking like a pirate!!
I thought he had voice lines in UCN.

I think everyone who’s played the game also did just that. The remnant is very confusing, it’s easier to just flash the shadow remnant to freeze them in place so you can move in real life and go and get the light remnant.
