The YSL Rouge Volupte Shine formula is one of my favorites ❤️ I love coral shade, because it’s such a nice pop of color.

I agree - LE makes the most grown up and pigmented lipstick in the velvet formula. I am partial to Velvet Muse but in the new release I was really surprised by the color Meet me in Berlin. I also love a good brick red and my fav is CT’s MI kiss. One more, the surprise hit for me last year was the Hourglass Velvet Story in Luxe. If you love a creamy matte that will disappear lip lines and not get funky on your lips, the formula is golden (and that coming from someone who owns hundreds of lipsticks and is always on the hunt for the perfect, comfortable matte).

Lisa Eldridge Skyscraper Rose is my current favorite. It’s so bizarre because I hate violets and fuchsia-leaning colors but that lipstick makes it look like I’m in perfect lighting all the time. Plus, it doesn’t look jarring/flashy on me. It strangely makes sense, almost like it’s natural. I’m still looking for a cherry red that will brighten up my face like Skyscraper Rose does.

@@Bekah_Sun I super appreciate you doing it even though it’s rough on your lips!! 🥲 a lot of youtubers I watch have stated they won’t do these types of videos anymore because they say they aren’t as good for views (which I understand!), so when I do see them I always make sure to comment + like the video
The merit lipsticks are my favorite, and the Cabo shade is the one I reach for most often. It’s a very effortless and smooth formula and I’m not a lipstick person but these are so goood, they’re a must!

My current go-to is the Chanel Duo Ultra Tenue Gloss in Light Rose. I'm Asian, with a light medium warm skin tone and that lipstick is my everyday happy colour. In Singapore we have to mask still, so that formula does not budge or make a mess in the mask. I can't wear anything else but that. Can't wait for the day I don't need to wear a mask so I can play with more colours & textures. Really enjoyed your video and taking notes!

My signature lip is definitely the Gucci brilliant shine in linnet stone and merit slip! We have a similar skin tone so this definitely helped reaffirm having byredo earth dust on my wishlist.

Love this video because I am lipstick obsessed! How would you described the scent of Gucci lipsticks? Do all the formulas have the same scent? I love Margarite Jade in you. I’m so curious about what caught your eye when you were swatching Byredo…
The Gucci lipsticks all have a pretty noticeable floral scent, maybe similar to the Gucci Flora perfume? It's not my favorite but it doesn't linger after application so I don't mind. I think the cats distracted me while I was lip swatching, ha!
@@Bekah_Sun Thanks for answering my questions. Looks like Gucci might be discontinuing Margarite Jade since it’s no longer available on Sephora, Nordstrom, or Holt Renfrew.
