Y’all notice how humble Enhypen is? Like look at how they’re sitting, especially Jay. Even though he’s kinda nervous but he’s speaking so eloquently. They’re so easy to be with, will always support their hard work and I’m glad I stan these boys and their hard work, their friendship MA, they deserve the world.
Their humble attitude and spirit of gratefulness is the reason I follow them even at my age and I'm not a pop fan. I would be so proud of each one of them if I were their parent as I'm sure their true parents are. Keep up the good work guys & don't ever lose that humbleness. Jay was nervous coming to this interview bc he hasn't been using english a lot but I'm glad Eric encouraged him by saying he sounds great and Jake would also wait patiently for him when he's composing his thoughts in english. Watching him be louder and more expressive as the show went by once he started to loosen up was so fun. He sounds amazing and I hope he continues to be more confident with his english!

He definitely doesn’t sound foreign but you can tell he struggles which is understandable with his situation
Jay isn't that fluent, I believe. As I remember he only lived in Washington during his younger years but before he went to Middle School they already moved back to Seoul. That explains that why he can't converse in a English language eloquently. He can understand though.
I admire Eric Nam for being very accommodating with his guests. He really has this aura that makes you comfortable. Thank you Dive Studios for inviting JAYKE.

I agree and you have two Korean Americans here from opposite Time Zones Pacific Jay Eastern Eric Nam and a Korean Australian Jake. Eric Nam got used to Australian English by taking to the Australian K-pop line. If not used to Australian English you might need to get some resources to help you bridge the differences between Australian and American English

@@_skayno I don't think so. Jake speaks more fluently in English. He couldn't attend Korean school when he moved back to Seoul, so he had to study in the International school. When they play any games that need to read or write in Korean, he always need other members' help.
he have other people under hybe that speak english bts rm, enhypen jake, seventeen vernon and joshua , the whole txt member , le sserafim yujin, and newjean hanni, danielle and soon new pledis boy group daniel former iland contesant as well so yeah lot of people speak english under hybe but I feel like he properly understand vernon, joshua yujin and daniel more sncie they 4 of them are american just like him but yeah it been cool if they all together speaking english with each other.

jay isn’t really of a talkative type during interviews but jake, on the other hand, is a genuine empath, a talker, he knows how to carry himself and get the conversation going. jake was definitely in a leader mode today😌 he just managed to be so effortlessly funny while also being honest and humble. i’m glad jay has become more comfortable throughout the interview and i hope we’ll see other fierceful sides of him in the future as well 💓 thank you so much to eric nam for having our boys today. this interview was very friendly and overall smooth and i, as an engene, got to know new sides of them that pretty much completed the whole picture of their unique personalities which makes me happy because i know how genuine our boys are. As an international Engene this show brought tears in my eyes 😭😭❤️❤️ like this was first Enhypen content in which i was able to understand every single word without need of subtitles...thankyou so much for having my boys ✨ and Jay did pretty well despite of being nervous..i also used to be fluent in english but didn't have any eng convo in last 2 years so now i stutter a lot ,as language needs continual practice and usage ..💕and Eric is such a nice host, he made our boys so comfy...and i can't get Jay's wikki wikki out of my head 😂lol

Jay’s English is amazing! Doing an interview in English must be challenging for him. Because people expect you to be fluent just because you were born in an English speaking country. But 8-year-olds don’t speak difficult topics.

I love getting to see Jake and Jay interact with Eric on daebak because the conversation always feels like a catch up or like an older brother giving younger siblings advice. lol the mix of Korean and English made it fun to see, Jay getting nervous for speaking in English was surprising since his colloquial skills were pretty on brand for the US and he’s pretty talkative when engaged. Eric has a talent at making guest be at ease and just chit chat for funsjes. Imagine when Eric hangs with all 7 members, it’ll be chaotic and fun. Hope they have a fun and safe tour!!
