Hi John,I don't understand why you would use two packs of yeast given the low starting gravity ? And massive thumbs on the 1k Subscribers. Well deserved. Cheers mate.
At 1.1040 the recommended pitch rate is 172 billion cells, so 1 pack is significantly short of that. Also with ferment happening at the lower end of the range for 05 it will ensure a healthy ferment, which means better beer at the end.
No I haven't done a tasting on this brew. Well pointed out, sir. I thought I had. I will sit down tomorrow arvo and knock one out,. I can't compare to the KPC because it's been about 15 months since I did my last batch, so none left and even if I did it wouldn't be a far comparison.
Cheers mate, will be throwing this down tomorrow as directed!
cheers for the vid mate . you sound like a down to earth aussie , with none of the bullshit .. will be watching and learning from your vids
Another great video John. Glad you enjoyed the Oktoberfest

how many grams of dextrose do i use to batch prime 23 liters of this beer..and i didnt use any dry malt extract..is that gonne be a problem?
prime at between 5.8 and 7 grams per litre. What did you add to the kit?
@@littlejohnsbrewing9199 i only added 1 kg of dextrose to the mix, and normally i add 200 grams for batch priming and it doesnt have much fizz
@@virtualgangsta It may just need some time, what temp is your storage area? Carbonation will take longer if it's cold.
