Lu’an Gua Pian is a fine experience,it is the first green that I truly enjoyed.
    A funny story,if you don’t mind:
For years,I wanted so badly,to appreciate green tea.
It was like Jazz music,I wanted to appreciate it,but every time,I was like”ahh,no…”
I was missing something that seemed to be there for other people, but lost on me.
I had been making the classic green tea mistake, too hot,too long, teabags.
    The trio of disaster.
    Hot+time+teabag=bad tea.
When I steeped my first Lu’an Gua Pian,I realized the error of my ways.
The Jazz music fell beautifully upon my palate.

Very interesting comparison! Taste-wise, I kinda feel this green/puerh similarity with Biluochun, especially by the smell of the dry leaves and when it's overbrewed, becoming bitter. The huigan brought by this tea reminds me a lot of some young shengs.

I see you point and actually Biluochun is fried in the Wok, like many Sheng Pu'er. Yunnan green tea gets even closer to Shengpu, when done with large leaf-variety. Even more when the green tea is dried at the sun.
