I made one rug that used up three pairs of men’s jeans. I cut them into 1 1/4 inch strips and used a Q hook. I did not sew them together, but used the no sew method I found in another video. I also used a rotary cutter, ruler and mat. I rolled the strips into a ball, but the strip twisted and I would try to do it with balling it up first. Thanks for the video!

I love this video but have one question? Do you use the single crochet stitch through out the full rug or use slip knot stitch then single crochet stitch and keep alternating OR only use Single Crochet Stitch??

This finger-crocheting is silly. Just use an extra large crochet hook (like a size Q) and this will be much easier and faster.

This is perfect for all of the old pairs of jeans I want to use. My only issue is that you go SO FAST. Some spoken or typed notes and going slower would be so helpful.
I think I'll try it though and try to brave making the different rows. Not sure how to do that yet.
Hi! Basically it's crochet knitting. The difference is that instead of using a crochet needle, you use your index finger. :) Work with single crochet stiches. Good luck!

Don't know if you will see this comment but if you want to try to make this and you are confused as to what is being done, I would suggest watching a finger crochet video. He is using a single stitch finger crochet method.
