Terry Bradshaw never looked young. He’s probably one of the most disrespected QBs of all time. 4 Super Bowls, come on man.
I could have got 4 super bowls with that defense. He's basically Trent Dilfer.
Overrated is the word you're looking for
@@justinpettit3432 not overrated. Propertly rated.
NFL films did give him credit for the greatest throw of all time back in super bowl 10... Look it up... People were just jealous
@@packergeek10 Then why didn't Trent Dilfer win 4 Super Bowls?
Terry Bradshaw is; the first QB drafted 1st overall to end up in Canton and the last player to win back to back Super Bowl MVP award, dude was MONEY
@Gatto Di Ossa He wasn't known as extremely accurate - sorry I have to disagree just a little. But he was my boyhood hero for all the other qualities we probably agree on: arm strength, willingness to throw a block, effective play-calling, etc.
Certeainly not the best quarterback
@Gatto Di Ossa Terry got the four rings first you tripping
Facts 💯
@@CHIKIS748 Only Bart Starr and Tom Brady own more titles as a QB, GTFOH
Terry Bradshaw was one of the toughest quarterbacks to ever play the game. He took a beating and just kept coming! Nothing stopped Bradshaw.
Bradshaw is the GOAT.. 100% in the SuperBowl.. not even the great deflator can make that claim
guy was a bull
Coaches stopped him, especially early to mid career. Why? He was TERRIBLE
@@ernestmartinelli9604 Jesus are you ignorant. Super Bowl wins are a TEAM ACHIEVEMENT, NOT an INDIVIDUAL ACCOLADE.
Bradshaw was GAME when it mattered. And man did he have an arm. Thanks pop for taping SB’s 13 and 14 because I learned about the legend of Terry Bradshaw.
LOL at 4:10 - "The guy's got more rings than a married pimp." WTF!
Well he is a comedian so….
The favor he asked for God is just wow..... I replayed that part 12 times. That’s a true champion especially for one who took a lot of crap he showed everyone. That’s motivation
Bradshaw in top 5 QB's of all time .... period. NO QUESTION .... Never LOST a Super Bowl .... 4 trips 4 wins .... other greats can't say that.
Joe Montana can!
@@enigma9971montana was a Pittsburgher

@@jairogers5876 You just confirmed everything I said. And you can't throw a football more than 5 yards...so who sucks, dumb little girl? This subject matter is a little bit above you, so you may want to sit down and shut your little mouth unless you really wanna get destroyed.
@@67marlins81 I actually can throw a football 40 yards and very accurately. Are you giving Terry top or something? You seem really pissed over nothing. 😂😂😂 I also guarantee Id have a higher completition percentage than Terry's 51%.
For all those saying Bradshaw is overrated, remember that in two of those four SB wins, he was named MVP. That means he was the best player on the field. Two SB MVPs and four rings is not overrated.
The game against the rams he threw three interceptions and kept the rams in the game for a while.
Whoever would say such a thing has 0 clue about Football, and the style of play in that Era.
All that normally means is that he played quarterback for the winning team. The 4 rings were not won by him they were won by the Steelers, who were always led by their defense. Terry is the only quarterback to not play for a championship team when that team had a top 2 defense and running game, and he prevented that championship twice in 1972 and 1976. Both those defenses were top 20 all time but couldn't win because of Bradshaw. His first 5 years he was likely the worst quarterback in the league.
@bryanjones4444 The SB winning QB doesn't automatically win the MVP. If that were true, I wouldn't of made the comment that I did. And the SB MVP would be a meaningless award because it would automatically go to the same position.
@@Soxruleyanksdrool i wrote normally not automatically, which is true.
If they make a biopic about this man and he was played by Woody Harrelson, I'd die happy.
Lol. Good one man.
Jamal Burke was good

I could kinda see that actually
Shut up and take my money! $$
4-0 in Super Bowls and like he says came thru with a huge play in every 4th quarter of those 4 games. Clutch, a money player

I love any commentary by Dennis Miller. He makes you PROUD to having been a Steeler fan back then. Of course I’m still the biggest fan, but back then was SPECIAL!!! Thanks Dennis for putting it so eloquently... Long Live the Terrible Towel from Las Vegas.
He's TOP #15 at least. Not even a Steelers fan but people forget this man called his own plays and brought 4 Super Bowls to the Steel City. Plus in the 4th quarter, in all Super Bowls, that man threw for a TD to give them a lead. Sad thing is this man is forgotten when spoken about the GREATEST QUARTERBACKS EVER, and he deserves to be there. His balls were so tight and so hard, he's a LEGEND!!! Semper Fi...
I agree with ya, mate: Bradshaw should be ranked higher.
“His balls were so tight and so hard” i feel like there was a better phrasing out there 🤣
He’s not even top 25 😊
No, he shouldn't sniff the top 100
He is no better than the 30th best quarterback to start a career after 1946 and should not be in the Hall of Fame.
#50, are you kidding me? He should be in the top 5. This man changed football
As a Packers fan, I got chills at 2:35... The Pittsburgh Steelers have so much RICH history. Blue collar city.
Gave me chills
It's criminal how many people have no idea how good Bradshaw was. Rocket arm, tough, mobile, at a time when it was much harder to succeed at QB. He says dumb things, he's goofy, but make no mistake: in the 70"s he was a badass.
No, it isn’t criminal. It isn’t criminal to recognize that Bradshaw had a pretty average career. Absolutely terrible early on in his career, extending for about 4 years, then he was very average, then he graduated to excellent. Interestingly enough, even after this “graduation,” he still wasn’t great many times. For instance, in ‘79, his YPA was excellent, especially for the time, BUT he was a God damn turnover machine. His only “great” year was ‘78.
Want to know what’s criminal when it comes to evaluating QB talent? Step up Mr. Ken Anderson. Now, HERE’S a guy that is criminally underrated
@@lunaticfringe896you're average bruh hush
@hugh2hoob668 Sure I'm average, but kiss my a$$, you little punk
Bradshaw grew up about 2 miles away from me in Shreveport, La.
He was truly a hometown hero.
I got to meet him when I was a kid, just after Super Bowl XIV against the Rams.
He was hilarious just listening to him talk about football and the Super Bowl, etc...
People know him as a personality on Fox, but he is so much more.
Had an absolute cannon of an arm, and held the National high school record for throwing a Javelin. He held that record for decades after he graduated.
He was one of the most mistreated, and underappreciated QB'S to ever play the game.
Pittsburgh had the Steel Curtain defense and that power running game behind those great running backs, but without Bradshaw, there wouldn't be 4 Super Bowl trophies in Pittsburgh.
He played before the rules were made to protect QB's, played on astroturf and in the worst weather against some of the most iconic teams to ever play. The Raiders, Dolphins, and Cowboy teams of the 70's, and the Oilers, Browns & Bengals of the early 80's.
I was there when Three Rivers opened to the public (five years old), and years later I witnessed the Immaculate Reception. Through the years, I watched as Terry Bradshaw outclassed and beat Roger Staubach, Kenny Stabler, Joe Montana and more. Terry had all the gifts, much like a young Joe Namath. Yeah, life was good when I was a kid, watching the Blonde Bomber throwing 60-yard passes, and flat-out embarrassing the other teams!
Terry went through some bullshit but he showed out when they needed him gotta love terry Bradshaw
That last favor he would ask of God gave me goosebumps
James Matthews seriously! I just commented the same thing🤦🏻♂️
Honestly. Jeez I wish I could play at that level.
I am NOT a fan of any Steelers, but I respect GREATNESS ( I saw Terry's career , I am almost 56 now) and HE was one TOUGH QB !! The man took a pounding and had the perfect tight pass + 4 RINGS in 6 seasons, also THE BEST " Bad weather QB ever ! )... He should be in the Top 30 !!
Respect...thank you
@Gatto Di Ossa , not in the top 5, but he and his teammates were winners that's for sure, even if you include poor Mike Webster whose brains were scrabbled due to football, but I digress. I wouldn't have Plunkett there either.
Why is Roger Stabauch higher than he is???? I don't get it?
LOL he shouldn't even be in the top 300. His stats were awful. You could put any qb on that team and the defense would have carried them to a superbowl. Trent Dilfer could have managed those teams to a superbowl.
@@packergeek10 How many SB MVPs did that defense have, 0, Bradshaw had 2
The original TB may not have won 6 super bowls but has never felt the agony of Defeat . The true man of Steel💪😁👍
Bradshaw is the GOAT.. 100% in the SuperBowl.. not even the great deflator can make that claim
The Blond Bomber like Dennis says,he had one of the strongest arms of any QB ever. An absolute cannon and he has 4 SB rings and he was a huge reason for their success in all of them.I love Terry and thats coming from a Cowboys fan if that says anything.
Bradshaw played in a different era from today's pass happy NFL(his last full season was ironically the same as Lynn Swann, the strike shortened 1982 season). He played on a run first offense that mainly threw on 3rd down, and quarterbacks of that time struggled to complete over 50% of their passes. As a Steeler fan, I'm the 1st to acknowledge that he wasn't the best qb of the era but to dismiss his value to those championships would be foolish. His strong arm and toughness allowed him to make plays others in that era couldn't make and people also undervalue the fact that he called the plays; he wasn't babied with an offensive coordinator. Bradshaw absolutely deserves to be on the list. I'm not sure if he's deserving of this high but he's more than a "game manager ".
W you is the realest steelers here talkin
W to you and RG3. RG3 you get your first W lol
Claude:the real mvp
c'mon man lol yes we all know the eras before present weren't as pass happy or,favorable to pass, and that defenses and running was the norm, and yes Terry contributed to Steelers lombardi wins, however, this is not a "top contributors to Steelers championships" list, it's a top qbs of all time list!-and Bradshaw has zero business being on it and u know it. and here's another thing, qbs have gotten better as whole decade after decade, same way dbs and rbs have, and on a greatest or best of all time list one does not get a pass or token entry just cause they excelled at a time when league was rubbish, for example nightrain lane doesn't belong on a top ten dbs list!-he was nowhere near as talented as the top ten dbs of today polamalu revis reed and plethora if others if last twenty yrs are all better athletes faster more talented better at coverage etc from deion to reed to Lott to u name it thirty other dbs of more modern eras are all better then lane furthermore his claim to gain was illegal gruesome head hunting hits that are illegal since his day, so even tho he dominated in his era he can't hold candle to dbs came after him and even mediocre dbs of today are infinitely more talented then him in his day, and he played against inferior athletes of the time when contrasted to athletes if today. jim Brown for example was greatest of his, day, but ain't seagull crap compared to top dbs of last twenty yrs!-and he played against an inferior level of athletes, at the time the players he played against sucked out loud when contrasted to nfl players of modern era, u think Brown would been as dominate today's era when playing against the defenders of today the watts Ray Lewis's Patrick williss etc ? of course not any good or great running back if today time warped back to browns era where defenders were fat n slow and all smoked cigs and drank beer and they'd double browns success and stats. so, if ur doing a top rb, qb, db, list of each decade then sure if course the bradshaws lanes browns of world are near or at top, but this isn't a top qb if the decade list it's a greatest of all time list, and top third if today's stArting qbs are better then Terry and u know it. c'mon man. be honest.
+fishncapt26 sorry I meant top one hundred all time I said top ten qb list I apologize
He won four Super Bowls in one of the toughest eras of the game. Man was a gladiator. He belongs in the conversation of greatest quarterback of all time. He belongs on the Mount Rushmore of the NFL.
He was the 7th best player on his own team....
Well he only threw 2 more td’s than interceptions in his career, his Qb rating was an abysmal 70.9 had close to a 50% pass percentage, was only an all pro once and a pro bowler only 3 times and the 70s Steelers are known for their steel curtain not Bradshaws greatness. He played well in Super Bowls that’s pretty much it..
Dude stop. Im a steelers fan and my god terry is not close to being in the conversation of GOAT
Bradshaw one of the greatest of all time. He was Steeler football!
Happy 70th Birthday Terry Bradshaw
I don't know why he is never considered as one of the greatest of all time! Could take a hit like no other QB in history.
Brian Mahoney it’s because he threw 212 TDS and 210 Ints. Yes, the era he played in was totally different and he was a big game player etc. It’s just hard to convince the newer generations he’s one of the greatest based off that alone. When you have a player today like Rodgers with 339 TDs and 80 ints. It’s hard to go yeah Bradshaw was better. Even though I know he was an all time great this is the reasons
He also was willing to throw blocks - effective and strong ones.
He in jail of fame he is one of the best
The guy had a freakin gun! 😃
Bradshaw, Stabler, Namath and Brady . 12 is a magical number for QB’s

QB's have it so easy today. You sneeze their way and it's roughing the passer.
Drops back, looks like he’s swatting a fly, but the ball just flys like a bullet, an incredible arm.
Him describing what he’d ask for if God asked him what he wanted lol gives me chills though!

His numbers may not say “Hall of Famer”, but his rings sure as hell do
Nah. He was the Kenny Stabler of quarterbacks.

Like Bart Starr, Terry Bradshaw wasn't the greatest QB as far as statistics go but he is one of the best big game QB's who ever played the game. In clutch situations he had ice water in his veins. He was at his very best in the highest pressure situations. Actually Bradshaw only threw for over 300 yards 4 times in his whole career but two of those times were in Super Bowl's. That tells you right there
Bradshaw has powerful speeches.
I always love the argument that Bradshaw is overrated because his team was great, as if the 49ers and Cowboy and Packer teams had a bunch of 3rd stringers and a great QBs. It's the dumbest argument there is. He played against the Raiders in his own conference and the super bowl opponents had pretty great defenses if you look at them. Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman are severely underrated because they did not have to throw for 50,000 yards. Its almost like they are punished for being great in the first 3 quarters and putting a game away while Elway, Montana, and Marino are always celebrated for 4th quarter comebacks. Realistically if you bury the other team early there is no need to throw the ball around at the end.
Bradshaw was at best the 7th best player on his own team. Behind Joe Greene, Jack Lambert, Jack Ham, Mel Blount, Franco Harris and Mike Webster. I might even have him behind John Stallworth.
#50 underrated,
Dennis MIller's comment that, "When you are in crucible, and the bullshit all falls away", is brilliant. It is exactly how Terry Bradshaw acted. It is iron sharpening iron, silver or any other metal being smelted, and separating the wheat from the wheat from the chaff.
Biggest advantage? Only QB who didn't have to play against the Steel Curtain
He was lucky not to face the 85 bears defense, he would have been wounded
@@garygarcia4929 He beat two of the greatest defenses of all time to win three Super Bowls: Vikings' Purple People Eaters and Dallas' Doomsday Defense (twice). He would have handled the '85 Bears just fine.
Say what you want - Terry was an absolute BEAST.. on and off the field
He’s the best qb in Steelers history (sorry Big Ben), and honestly doesn’t get enough respect.
He threw that pass to Stallworth flat-footed!!!
Yes indeed and it was as PERFECT as it could have been ! The guy was " CLUTCH ! "
Terry Bradshaw invented the deep pass game. In the 70s guys like Staubach rarely passed deep, but Bradshaw did all the time and changed football forever
Because of you my father & brothers I learned to love football!

Joe Montana had AMAZING Defenses through his Superbowl years .Ranked 2nd, 1st, 8th, 3rd in points allowed.
The Steelers threw it deep back in the day. None of this move the chains. It was about big plays on offense & defense.
Montana was from Pittsburgh too
When quarterbacks were men! Awesome Steelers teams!
You mean back when they sucked lmao I looked this guy stats up it's pathetic.
How isn’t stallworth or swann on the list is just criminal
As great as they were, they didn't put up big numbers. They came alive in the big games and not so much during the regular season. It for those reasons, they both got in the Hall of Fame much later than their peers.
@@standupG1 gotta agree with gman there.
@@standupG1 they didn't put up numbers because of the style of play in the 70s. If they played in the 80s or later they'd have put up huge numbers with all the extra passing
Lynn swan, Troy P and Hines ward should definitely be on this list...
They probably shouldn't be here tbh
Underrated
They say he couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the c and the t. But he sure and hell could stand in the pocket and fire the ball down the field!
We love you Terry. Too many memories to count. You never let your team down.
he had a cannon for an arm.
Bradshaw was a pioneer but I can't fathom him coming in a spot ahead of Bart Starr.. He had the Steel Curtain. He had great RBs.
Bart Starr was the toughest football player that ever lived. He was the one player Lombardi listened to. He should have his statue erected next to Vince's at Lambeau. He wasn't the greatest but he made it count when his team needed him the most. 9/10 playoffs wins. Will be a long time before anyone comes close to that.
look at that release! wowowowowowow
Love our guys! 😎
Man where's Dennis Miller today when we need him?! What an original!
Love ya Terry glad u were a Steeler
Should have been an Oiler or, a Cowboy
At the end of the day know one really cares that much about stats what people really care about is how many championship s their team's win Bradshaw winning 4 super bowl s make him one of the all time Greats
Only reason he doesn't have the stats is cause he took risks & threw deep more often than not. It was never about play action passes that gained 5 yards at a time.
The Blonde Bomber
....also @3:49 The MOST " Perfect " Pass ever thrown in a Super Bowl if not any NFL game in history !! #49 FS, LA Rams Rod Perry missed it by an inch !! ... I was 17 on that day in Jan. 1980....The fuck'n Pittsburgh Steelers would NOT have won that SB 4 sure without #12 at QB !! Terry deserves much more credit !!
4 rings in 70s
2x Super Bowl 🏟 Most Valuable Player
The Big Bang of the Steelers offense
Why are you everywhere.
Everyone forgets the offense of the late 70s Steelers, mostly because they had the outstanding defense on the other side. But two players from the offense made it on this list, Mike Webster and Terry Bradshaw, if you ask me both sides of the ball were equally as entertaining.
How does a legendary QB with 4 rings only rank #50 in the top 100 greatest of all time
championships are a team accomplishment and don't necesarily mean he was better than other QB's.
Name the other QBs to win 4 or more SBs, Montana and Brady................
What is the most important position on the football field...QB, what is the only position that owns a won/loss record...QB, which 2 QBs are considering the greatest of all time, Brady and Montana, combined they own 9 SB titles, there is only 1 retired QB(aside from Peyton Manning) who owns multiple SB titles not in the HOF and that is Jim Plunkett, look at the teams this century who have won a Super Bowl, aside from Brad Johnson and Joe Flacco they are won with elite QB play, more often that not, you need a great QB to win a Super Bowl
@FuriousMan226 Videos I'll take it a step further. Bradshaw was maybe the 7th best player on his own team. Behind Joe Greene, Jack Ham, Jack Lambert, Mel Blount, Franco Harris, and Mike Webster. I could easily make a case John Stallworth was better as well.
Bradshaw wasn't a gnat on Roger Staubach's ass as a QB. And I friggin HATE the Cowboys.

Born in 1976, California and grew up with Montana; and ate breakfast in a cafe with my pops 18, diehard 49ers fan, bragging about Joe best ever! My dad said calmly (and he’s a Cowboys fan) said “I say Bradshaw is”. The teen bus boy and I laughed, you mean the goofy tv guy; and when the internet and CZcams hit; I found very quickly who this apparent Bradshaw was. My jaw was on the floor with all those Superbowl throws. It was Mozart on the field. I had to tip my heart to my late father; Bradshaw was a force, I agree! Still think Montana is though. lol
The original TB12. GOAT!!
Numero uno en ese tiempo. Inigualable
Bradshaw&Montana only QBs to say they are 4-0 in Super Bowls
Terry Bradshaw was an amazing performer in the playoffs when his teammates were really counting on him to be great. He played good enough to help his team win a total of 8 championships-4 Conference and 4 S.B.'s.
How hard is it to play good enough to help your team 8 championships-Dan Marino was only good enough to do that ONCE in his entire career. Dan had 3 other chances to win championships but played mediocre to bad all 3 times and lost. Bradshaw on the other hand was S.B. MVP TWICE.
Think about that-Terry Bradshaw was the S.B. MVP more times than Marino was able to play good enough to help his team win a championship of any kind. That is amazing.
@@sandramumford817 You're so obsessed with Marino you're slagging him on videos that have nothing to do with him.
Terry called his own plays in an era in which few did. He had a rocket arm and delivered in the clutch when he had to. Just ask John Madden how great Bradshaw was. The fantasy football stats wasn't thought of back then. Winning was all that mattered and Terry was as dangerous as any QB in the NFL. Bradshaw made a large individual contribution in winning those Superbowls. They don't win four without him.
I would be interesting to see what kind of numbers guys like Bradshaw, Staubach, Stabler, etc would have playing in today's pass happy cant touch the receiver NFL. Football in the 70's was the best there was and ever will be.
Dang right Bradshaw was a
game manager. The. man called his own plays! He took the biggest risks to win biggest games. More credit is due for that.
It is interesting that the Minnesota Vikings logo is a picture of Terry Bradshaw.

I still remember watching some 00s commercial with Terry in it, and my 6-year-old niece came into the room.
Georgia: "Who's that?"
Me: "Terry Bradshaw. He was a quarterback for the Steelers. One of the best ever."
(pause)
Georgia: "He can't be THAT good, HE'S BALD!"
What many fans don't know, or forgot, is that when Bradshaw came up he had to share QB with another Terry...Notre Dame QB Terry Hanratty. Both QB's got starting time until it became obvious that Bradshaw would be their starter.
I think the Steelers took Bradshaw as the number one overall pick in the draft in 1970 because, while they had Hanratty, he wasn't really going to be the quarterback of the future for them-- they made that decision. Which is why they went and drafted Bradshaw with their number one pick a year later.
Bradshaw had more competition for the job on his own team from Joe Gilliam a couple of years later.
Love Terry!
Again with these 70’s Steelers! Just an absolute wagon! And Terry Bradshaw …. what a cannon!!! Ah, the good old days of the NFL!😂
