Tripped me out the first time too. It gave straight 80s metal to me mixed with 70s rock. It is so rare to find someone with that clear of a voice and range but he is the real deal! So excited for you to get to experience him for the first time!
Yannis is one of the most unique talents in metal. Believe or not he covered Floor Jansen with Ghost Love Score, and quite well. He claims it's easier for him to hit those notes than go low. There's an interview with him on the Charismatic Voice's channel. Great reaction!
Floor is the best Nightwish has ever had, but that song was done under their first ginger Tarja, equally talented but softer on the whole even when opening up and putting power in

80' 90's flavour ... I LOVE IT !!! :-D
Their first 2 albums are mainly fantasy/ Berserk inspired(the manga/anime), even with the name Beast In Black being a homage to Berserk. Their latest album being Sci-fi/ Blade Runner inspired.
